Great setting, authentic equipment, soldiers on both sides look battle hardened, exhausted and filthy…then they ruin it with the matrix slow motion fighting.
My dad was in the US Army during WW2. He was in the Battle of Bulge. He died on Nov. 26, 2011. He was not wounded in WW2. However,he did get frost bite in his right foot. He said a WW1 solider told him the this, that war was hell on earth. It is either kill or be kill.
@@simonexeli7552 My grandpa was not in WW2. He died in 1917 and no he was not in WW1 either. It was my dad that was in WW2. YOU SHOULD APPRECIATED ALL THE EFFORTS OF ALL THE WW1& WW2 SOLIDERS. THAT FOUGHT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. If you are so very unhappy in the USA, you can leave and go to another country. I think there is 184 other countries besides the USA!!!!
@@worldchampion8888 bro chill first of allmorgendlich than 185 countries and I am not American, I am Austrian and I think it’s cool and all that your dad served in ww2 but like why share this information under this video, like both my granddads served ww2 all 4 of my great granddads served in ww2 and I am not randomly sharing that information under a video that has nothing to do with US especially
All NATO countries say: so unrealistic, horrible!! Look at death of soldiers UK+USA And Soviets..... Soviet’s went from Moscow to Berlin and you landed in Normandy and to Berlin after Soviets!!!
So that Soviet guy misses German soldier with bayonet, the German miraculously misses him and then the Soviet instantly recovers and kills the German. Sounds legit to me

They didn't in real life. This director gone wild in post production. Also....why is every one moving so slowly....makes it easier to hit targets with those teacers!
They don’t love people yelling in slo mo. It’s called having a fighting scene and putting it in slo mo to show what happens, they don’t love people yelling. They just yelled why they attacked. Well done sherlock
@Николай Полякова Your leader is an old man whose dreaming of the dusty old days of the fallen and defeated soviet union, as for your numbers i guess your ministry of information is doing a great job of keeping you in the line they want. victory day ha, stop displaying those russian antique junk weapons they are not from the century we are living in, hahahahahahaha.
@Николай Полякова What the hell are you talking about, one county in my country has a bigger economy than your entire country, and we germans are known for our knowledge and weaponry engineering, our destiny is to be what you can't be and you still dreaming about. your country with america and france and canada and britain combined were fighting against germany alone, and you have been destroyed to the knees. to this day you can't afford food because you was occupied by germany don't forget that putin's puppet. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Obada Odeh basically its how it was. A well documented fact that there were hand to hand battles building by building, street by street, meter by meter, when ammo ran out. The siege lasted more than a year
@Николай Полякова Stalingrad, hahahahaha, in five days the german armies were capable of seeing the dome of the kremlin through their binoculars thats how close you were about to become a german territory, you should thank your current enemies the UK and the US who saved your #ss.
EXELENTE..PERFECTO EL FILM..UNA MARAVILLA...ASI ERAN Y AUN PEOR LAS BATALLAS TAMBIEN Y MAS AUN EN STALINGRADO.. ERAN PELEAS CALLEJERAS,MORTALES.. EXELENTE REPARTO....UNA MARAVILLA.. DE LOS DOS BANDOS ERSN TERRIBLES Y FEROSES LOS SOLDADOS..
They rushed out the Building like Kids shouting :" trick or treat" and still managed to mince and grind dozens of well trained wehrmact soldiers and casuality also designed that no mg42 was in Place to mow them Down like house of cards at the First gust of Wind. A single strafe of mg42 would have taken care of them all
This is how you depict your enemy being defeated in a way that glorifies you but also pay respect to your enemy. The Germans were killing the Russians in hand to hand and with guns too even if not as much, as opposed to the pure propaganda piece where your soldiers are superman and you never lose a man and 3 would take on an army like this. This is the way a lot of American movies do aswell(We were Soldiers, Wind talkers, American soldiers get killed in those movies even if they usually win the battle), as opposed to the pure propaganda piece, like something you'd see in a Chinese anti-Japanese propaganda film of today. With that said, Yes, this movie is pro-Russian propaganda as many have said, but it also pays respect to the Germans better than most films that caricaturize them as demons, also as many have said.
@@psilvakimo did you really care how large can the Soviet reserve be? They are harvily imdustrialised Soviet Union not that Backwards Russian empire that lost ww1
I don't think so. In fact a 80% of German casualties were in the east front. The west front, when it was finally opened, was really small in comparation with any of the diverse East fronts.
@@zehrabveladimir803 hahaha, what do you want to do russian? You will fail in Ukraine, all getting killed or wounded or becoming a pink mist. Keep following your great leader and rid yourself from this world
Didn't fight for freedom. Communist are not free! So, Starlingrad, was taking over 90% by the Germans. The Russians lost the city, but not entirely. Winter set in, cold bad.. and they ( because of Stalin went to RFK American bombers cut off the Germans supply line) Starlin took 80,000 Siberian prisoners to fight the Germans and if they turned around they were shot dead by the Red Army. The red army shot anyone of their own if they did not advance and attack the heavily armed Germans; with sticks, only 1 out of 4-5 Russians had guns. Fucking crazy. Hell is War.
@@uwug4m1ng71 according to real war, defender will keep his position covered and concealed, aim calm and well and shoot precise. Russian attack and assault were more like to be or not to be , not always smart thing to do , they lost a lot of their soldiers attacking well trained and experienced military, like German in WW2..
