It's exhausting. Like, of you're good at the sport prove it without making it a political racist statement. Figure skating is beautiful. If you're good at it, fine go compete. But I don't want to be saddled with nonsense dragging the sport down so diversity whiners are placated.

Ice time at a rink is usually available only in the very early mornings which means a parent must get up before dawn and drive the skater to the rink. These economic obstacles are greater for black skaters. There has been only one African-American skater, Debi Thomas, that has won a World Figure Skating Championship in the entire 130-year history of the sport.
