Big thanks to Elizabeth Putnam for trusting me and skating in this incredible place on top of the mountain. She was a total trooper, putting up with very cold conditions and constant requests of "Can you go do that again" even though she was freezing.

Apologies for not making any comments on any of my videos or responding to anything. For some reason, for the past 2 weeks, I can not see any comments on my videos when logged into my "Bradley Friesen" account. So here, talk to my dog. I swear he won't hump your leg (He totally will). If anyone knows how to get my comments back, please let me know! I've been emailing with RU-vid and they swear they are looking into the issue.

Holeigh Abercrombie SAME! I quit figure skating about a few months ago because my family could no longer afford it and I didn’t seem dedicated enough and I miss it so much. I had skated for about 6 or 7 years and still was never able to land my axel because of different coaches not doing a great job with teaching and me having to relearn a lot of things every time I switched coaches and now I miss ice skating so much. I feel so unfinished because I gave up on trying to land my axel even though I was so close. Before I die, this is what I would like to do since I know I will never be able to go to the Olympics, skating on a lake with a drone filming me would be amazing.

Fabulous Lovey same!!! I’ve skated for 12 years, but couldn’t land triple salchow for like 2 years, and I hated figure skating for like a year and at the end, gave up on skating, and few years later, now, i missed figure skating soo much 😭

Northern Minnesota this winter was able to be blessed with the same type of ice. The cold temps and no snow made it breath taking. What a complete and total high. Thank you so much for sharing 💞⛸️

Back when I still played hockey in my teens the reason I did well in a team and league with much, much more skilled players was because of my skating. And the reason my skating was so much ahead of others' abilities was because of a figure skater I knew from my childhood who sort of acted as a skating coach for me. She made me see how gritty figure skaters really are and did some miracles with my skating. Even though I ended up being forced to quit hockey due to injuries, we never felt all that time was wasted. We had a shit ton of fun and I still get compliments for my skating ability after nearly 15 years from time to time. TLDR; figure skaters are god damn awesome.

I loved this and your earlier video....figure skating on lake on top of mountains.....earlier one was more magical and had a mystery feel to it bcoz its first time I have ever seen or heared about it.....up high-on frozen lake.... This is on my bucket list...

This is amazing footage and editing. This masterpiece of visuals and sound reveals the essence of a true athlete - the joy in being fully alive on this gorgeous planet. The message seems to be that we are here for only so long - make the most of it. When it's time to go there won't be any regrets. And shed the relationships that aren't working anymore (or never did) - it's OK to be alone and revel in your individuality - deciding your identity and choosing your destiny. It's holy to emote when you are deeply moved.

Very nice! I can just imagine Elizabeth slowly freezing. I actually live in Switzerland and in the Swiss Alps there are quite a few frozen lakes, which is pretty awesome to ice skate on. Have Fun!
