This is the Fiido D2 EBike, it's Foldable and Electric with a 7.8ah rechargeable lithium ion battery.

This electric bike is very lightweight and easy to fold, making it easy to store. You can easily place in your car, or you can put it in the corner of your home or office. It is equipped with a 250W brushless motor and a 36V lithium battery to improve the climbing performance and reduce rider tiredness. Top speed is roughly 15.5MPH/25kph and it can ride up to 50km total distance.

The electric bicycle has three riding modes options. Pure electric, or the electric assist, or the mode of no assistance for increased exercise.
The D2 Ebike has a front LED light for night riding. With USB phone holder, power monitor, speed control on the handle. Adjustable heights of handlebar and saddle for different heights of people. Inflatable 16 inch rubber tire with anti-slip texture, great shockproof suspension, giving you a comfortable riding experience on bumpy roads. Disc-brakes front and rear also ensure electric bike braking distance is reduced adding to the safety of the rider.

Brought this bike recently and am six foot 2 and over two hundred pounds and it fits perfectly. You can unrestrict it very easily and get four extra miles per hour simply by holding down the left break for ten second and turning the bike on and holding it for a further five seconds. Might night sound like much the whole torque and power makes it feel like a new bike.

Greetings! I was wondering if you could help me. I bought the d2s and the moment I got it out of the box the break was too tight meaning i could not literally wheel it. I untied the break pads a little bit but kept hearing the rubbing noise. Took it to Halfords and they said the break disc is bent and they won't touch it due to the nature of the bike and the fact it is new. Any idea if there is an official repair rep for Fiido here in UK? Or maybe a site where people ask and answer problems? Where do you get yours checked if fixed if you needed to fix anything ever? I am so sad, I literally rode it once just to get to the bike shop :( All reviews I read were so positive that's why I got it, but now I'm all stressed it will give me problems in general lol

@@ubershredder1989 Only on D2 without the phone holder. There are different versions of this bike with different controllers.

@@winlux2 thanks for your response. so if i understand correctly, the bikes with the phone holders cannot be de-limited because the electronics are controlled through the phone?? only bikes with the manufacturers' factory speedometer/electronics can be de-limted, is this correct? I couldnt fine a Fiido D2 withOUT phone holder... Perhaps you have the Fiido D2-S ?

Hi.. I got the D2S delivered today. A few questions 1) How do I know when the battery is fully charged ? Is it when the charging adapter turns green? Reason I ask is because , the charger is green, however the Control to turn the electric mode options on is not coming on ..it just flashes for like half a second.. The instruction booklet doesn’t have sufficient details . 2) I hear a metal on metal like scraping sound when the front wheel turns? Is this normal as the bike is new and need to be ridden in? Or is something wrong . Any help will be appreciated

I have the d3s and love it, puts a smile on my face every time I ride it lol. Fiido is coming out with the M1 which has fat tyres and suspension and gears iirc. I will get one soon, I'm building an ebike from a 1000w rear hub drive only old full suspension mounting bike which will be a different world I think but I will still ride my d3s due its simplicity and compact size etc.

My nephew has the Fiido D2S whilst I have the single speed D2. We are similar weights, downhill freewheeling, the D2 will slowly catch up the 6-speed D2S as there does seem to be a slight motor drag with the geared version, maybe only one or two percent efficiency lost.. But here is the important observation I have not seen mentioned anywhere: The pedals on the single speed D2 turn slower than the D2S in top gear, i.e. it is like being stuck in 7th gear, so I would not recommend the D2 in really hilly areas, despite what the reviewers are saying, this "copes with 30% incline" is not true, you would have to get off and walk on a 1 in 3 incline. However for 99% of the time the D2 is simply superb and does what it says on the tin.

I did wonder about the gearing issue, thinking it looks like it may be really low geared, I'm glad to hear it's not tho, sounds like it will be great on pedal assist mode! Already got mine on order from geekbuying, shipping at the end of June, I can't wait! :D

Hi I am not Jake but used the D2 for 4 weeks to get to work. I borrowed it from a friend to test it. D2 is a very nice bike. No problems at all. The battery holds power fine. D2s may make it easier for you. I now own D3s bike and it has gears and same 16 inch wheel size. I have had a few cutout problems with the D3s but never had a problem with the D2. D2 seemed just a bit faster as well.

Only issue about this is that it’s stuck like a heavy gear if your just pedaling but besides that it is better than the D2S compared mine to my friends and it’s actually surprisingly faster aswell so I do recommend the D2 cheaper to 👍🏼

Make sure you check every screw and brakes before riding as brakes are not perfect out of the box in all of them. It may brake your brake disc if brakes being forced too much as it bends the disc while braking. The front wheel especially needs to spin freely. Tyre pressure too and oil the chain as well. Never ride a bike thats out of the box without checking it first.

My D2 has just arrived and straight away has brake problems. It squeaks horribly and braking on the front and back like in 1:34 and 5:57 in your video but worse. Any one have this issue and can recommend the fix?

Clean the disks with liquor thinner. Then sand the disk with 600 grit sand paper and blow off and wipe with clean cloth. do not touch with your fingers as it will contaminate the surface with the oil from your skin. That should make the squealing go away.

I clean my brake pads with what I have to hand... which is cellulose paint thinners, I also wipe the disc clean too. Then hold the pad with pliers and heat gently with a blow torch to burn off any remaining grease or oil. Remember not to touch pads or disc as the oil on your fingers will contaminate them. Put the pads back into the caliper and adjust for clearance... see other RU-vid videos on how to adjust.

Nah man. Keep the scooter and get this later. Always good to have a back up. Scooters are fun. I did the same got a scooter before and realised I needed a bike as well so saved for this.

@@skyMcWeeds The downside of the scooters is when you run out of battery in the middle of an uninhabited place which is still far to your destination; whereas, the ebike will have no problem as you could still proceed by pedalling.

I am considering getting either a Fiido D2, D2S or Fiido 1 (because of the larger battery). Having more gears in the D2S does seem good in theory but I live in central london where the roads are relatively flat and on the roads. Is it worth having more gears? Have you ever rode your bike without electric power using the gears? Is it any good? I heard you can unlock the speed limiter on the Fiido D1 and D2 so you reach ~20mph, but that is not possible on the D2S. Do you feel the speed is adequate on the Fiido D2S, or would you prefer it a bit speedier?

This bike is so expensive, but incredible lack of front fork damping.its wheel is only 14 inches in diameter .the small wheel bike would be extremely bumpy if have no good shock absorbing system, I don't think this is a comfortable bike and worth bragging about either.

You can buy parts including batteries from the main Fiido website here: www.fiido.com/collections/d-series-part . I am taking a gamble and I've ordered a 10.5ah battery for the Fiido D4S to put in my Fiido D2S. I will update this to let you know if it's possible! Fingers crossed!!!

Technically not if you're using full electric mode but who's going to know or care, the police don't, Pedal Assist is fully legal but I don't know how 2 modes stands Its 250w and 15mph which is at EU legislation, stop caring about what the Nanny State thinks They won't care unless you're going say 60mph and have a 2000w motor or whatever than it won't even be a bicycle. This is a bicycle mate

Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike ru-vid.comUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
