*More info here* *LINK FIXED* Unfortunately the Fiido D2 isn't available in the UK but the D2S is. The only difference is the D2S has 3 gears you can shift through. I'm going to ramble on about a few things I didn't mention in the video here. I'll regularly be updating this comment. Feel free to ask questions here. I had owned the bike for 3 weeks before making this video. 1) The headlight on this bike is good. It's a really nice beam. Unfortunately there's no rear light so I added one myself. 2) There's an awesome modding community for these bikes. I've seen people wire extra battery packs to double the range. 3) There's a D2S model. The S is for shifting because it has gears. I opted for the standard D2 for simplicity. Also I don't think the D2S can be speed unlocked.

I've got a M365 electric scooter, its not legal either, but having passed 4 of merseysides finest popo (on the road and pavements), I've yet to be pulled on it. London's just being a pain in the ass :D

If I was in the market for a bike I'd snag one of these, love the compact look and rear shocks to ease the pot-hole laden life. Maximum load 120kg so I could bring boots and a camping kit and be within the limit, listed product weight 19.2kg?!

Honestly I love these little dork bikes. I've got two regular sized bikes and two of these little dork bikes (Jetson Bolt Pro and one named Ao Mirong). I ride the small ones all the time

Great vid! I have a few questions. 1) is the speed limiter engaged even when using the pedaling mode without E-assist? Like if i wanna go down a hill at 40kmh, will it limit it to the given speed limit? 2) i know that there is a way to remove the speed limit on D1, is it also possible on D2?? many thanks!

Genuinely considering one of these, the price is quite good for a folding e bike with disc brakes, I mean it's no Brompton but they go for 2k+. I'm getting sick of filtering through hoards of cars that don't look or care for filtering bikes on the dual carriage ways during peak times my commute is much more direct on a bicycle I just wish the range was a bit longer on these

After you've done the deristrict hack if you turn it off by the key then back on dose it go back to restricted to 15mph. When I went to order I was trying to order from Europe-2 warehouse. You have to change it to UK warehouse. Hopefully I'll be able to buy within the next 2weeks as I wasted my money I had saved on other stuff... Typical me lol

I have D2 , i bought it in 2018. It works like champ. But one thing, that "air shock absorber " is fake. It have simple spring in that housing. But you can buy proper air shock absorber for about 70 $ from aliexpress, but i didn't. This works just fine for me.

That's a pretty cool little ebike. Although I will say twist throttle is illegal in the uk, pedal assist only... Not that I care, I have a throttle on my 15,000 watt DH electric bike lol

What's the difference between D1-D2-D3 models?

Just got my D2 arrive today and the brakes are really squeaky that it feels a bit dangerous. It has mega squeaks when you brake in the video at 5:55 and 7:31 - have you learned a fix for this yet? Has anyone had the same issue?

Is it similarly easy to go from 30kmh-setting back to 25kmh-setting? Why do you think that the other version, d2s, cannot be unlocked? Why so bad music in the intro, do you hate us? When a bike is "manual" (means: with the hands), that´s called "podal" (means: with the legs), a version of which word is (much more commonly) "pedal", like in "pedaling on a bicycle" ;-) I enjoyed the review!

The only e-bikes that are legal are pedal assist only. If that goes under power with only throttle, it's as illegal as an escooter.
