Portugal - send Filipa again. Seriously, this is an underrated song and listen to those vocals. Satellite was a great song but vocally Filipa left Lena in the dust. Years later and this still gets me every time I hear it.
@@Philipp19967 in all seriousness, her vocals are actually quite technically good, I'm assuming you're not so into pop, i get why some people don't like Lena's vocals very much however, in my opinion there's a certain charm to it! anyways, greetings from North Rhine-Westphalia!~

It's true, Portugal is good at making Ballads and all with incredible lyrics, if everyone knew Portuguese they would understand what I say, Sweden doesn't do better, it's just more favored and they underestimate Portugal for being a Southern Country and generally they always sing in their own way language.

The song was nice kinda great, the arrangement and choir were all on point. The performance part was the exceptional part, she slayed like a pro the angles, intention etc. The vocals were too strain too often. But there were some magic moments, def deserved much much more
The only change i would do, was when the cam came from the pearl curtin, Filipa should had face the cam (instead facing the audience) and with a rotation with the cam, she would face the public. It would be a beautiful moment
I can't watch this video. Every time I watch it I literally cry because it is so unfair that Filipa didn't win in that year's contest... this was such a masterpiece. Filipa is one of the most underrated artists even in our country. I bet she would be huge worldwide if only she had the opportunities of singers like Taylor Swift and etc. I think she would win that year's contest if people understood the lyrics, because what else? The performance was from another world! She deserved even more than Salvador Sobral although I'm very grateful that he won for the first time for our country this year. Also, I hope that his health gets better

Portugal sent the most adoring women with fantastic songs i 2010 and 1986, when Norway hosted the competition i Oslo and Bergen. Filipa and Dora. Filipas ballad is beautiful. Dora reminds me, in style and music of early Madonna, around Into the Grove. Love them both.
In 2010 I totally agreed with our song... however I was only 13 at the time in retrospect I think that Canta por mim or Alvorda with have done way better than 18 place (which is a miracle place for Portugal BTW)

This was not my favourite song to represent Portugal in Oslo. Despite that, Filipa Azevedo did a great job on stage. She was very focused, calm, did a great job with the camera, and she was singing in key the all time. She sounded and looked gorgeous. Still, I think with Catarina Pereira and her song "Canta Por Mim", Portugal would have finished in the top ten.
