Latter Day Saints do not do the sign of the cross, but thank Our Heavenly Father and ask for His blessings on every meal. We also sat a personal morning and evening prayer, and pray as a family daily.
sometimes I think he crosses a line and it comes across as bullying, he mocks her knowing she doesnt fully understand and uses that to try gain views!!I dont like that @@bobdownes162
Chrissy will be able to get him back in her own language and his as well when she gets her medical degree that would be another elevated language above most of us as well!
Making the sign of the cross is not really something protestants do, but Catholics do and so do Orthodox Christians as well. It is done a little differently in the Orthodox Church, though, because we go from right shoulder to left shoulder and we hold our hand differently. We put our thumb, index, and middle fingers together and then our third and pinky fingers against our palm, then touch our forehead, belly button, right shoulder, then left shoulder.
I'm non-denominational and I find myself doing it if I see an accident, or someone really suffering, it's just an unconsience, spontaneous thing with me.
Actually 7 different types of Catholics. But the sign of the cross is used in many religions. To a catholic it is basically used to begin and end a prayer.
Tim, questions. I never see a western garage, enclosed with a solid garage door, why is that?? Second I read pinball machines are illegal in the Phillipines, have you ever seen one there in a bar or private home?? Thx for your time..
The garage thing I believe may have to do with cost and humidity. I'm sure there are plenty of pinball machines, I have seen them for sale online. There is a novelty market for old school games i think...
Nice to see you two out together ❤️ I am Catholic and we make the sign of the Cross, Orthodox do also but they go right to left and we do left to right. Anyway that pizza looked great !
Tim polvoron is sweets in the Philippines. It's made of powdered milk sugar butter and flour . The sound and spelling of provolone almost sound the same for Crissy that's why she thought it was the same as polvoron.
Saw your vlog from a couple days ago. Thanks for the surf comp info. Even if it's just like WSL compitions. Little bitty waves. Of course the next day after comp is over, it'll be overhead and pumping. Lol. What the price of boards over there? And is it cheap to rent?
It’s always good to watch both of you..the jokes back and forth are so funny, made me smile always, keep up the good and funny content…love both of your channel.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost Amen is from the Roman Catholic Religion. We say it before we eat and also when we enter the church and any time you will connect with the Father.
Have you made it to any restaurants on the other side of Sogod Bay? Just wondering if Kent's pizza is the best I will find if I'm all the way over by Lioan. If so, I will have to get a few to go next week when I arrive. I don't think my family there have ever had pizza.
Hey Scott. This is Kent from LK’s. I’ll make you a pizza with special toppings if you get a chance to visit. Need a place to stay for the night our place is also on Airbnb.
@@kenthoover8427 Will def come for a feed next time we are over ... family lives midway Bontoc & Bato, so pretty good for accom, but you never know, they may kick me out one day :)
making a cross is a Catholic, thing. My wife uses to be Catholic until I gave her a Bible and read it. now she identifies as a Born again Christian. once she realized what that catholic church was not teaching the Bible but only using what was in the Roman Missal.
Chrissy is so very sweet and loving 🥰! She’s a gem 💎 in the rough for sure! Tim better be a good boy from here on going forward! Haha 😛! Foreigners don’t understand what their locals take for granted in the dialectical jokes. Just like we don’t understand their inside jokes as well because we were not in their areas as these jokes developed locally.
I am Catholic, and yes the sign of the cross is a Catholic sign. I watch both of you and regular guy, and he said he saw JetJet, and thought she was a beautiful woman. Little does he know, she is not interested in foreigners. Enjoy your dinner and your life😊
Polvoron is a Filipino shortbread cookie made with toasted flour, powdered milk, butter, and sugar. These bite-sized crunchy and crumbly cookies are sweet and addicting. Polvoron is commonly spelled pulburon or polboron. It is also referred to as Filipino milk candies.
the "ritual" is to pray and asking for God's blessings, and thanks for the food, and everyone associated with getting the food to the table. The sign of the cross is used to open and close all prayers. I don't believe that this ritual is limited to us alone, maybe the sign of the cross is, but not the giving of thanks and asking for blessings for and on the food.
I'm a Protestant and we don't do sign of the cross only the Catholic. As a 18 years old Chrissy i would say she did a great job im so proud of her, she so calm, soft spoken a good woman over all, you two are perfectly match👍💝
Orthodox Christians make the sign of the cross as well, except we go from right shoulder to left shoulder and the way we hold our hand when doing it is different as well.
The closest you could probably get to "Hunting for bear" for Chrissy to understand would probably be "Hunting for Carabao" and that she would probably find offensive, given their economic value. So never mind.
