Hi Tim and Chrissy. Here are a few things my Filipina wife has said over the years of trying to learn American slang. "Stop it, you are giving me a crack" when I was teasing her, "you are just fooling my leg". One time when she heard the saying "you have more stuff in you than a Christmas Turkey" and after she met one of my co-workers, she said that "he has a lot of Turkey in his stomach" because of his BS. She is always saying something funny and we laugh together.
You have to go check at the post office if you’re expecting anything. We went to the one in Maasin and they trusted us to take everyone else’s mail up to the barangay. Mail delivery in the Philippines doesn’t exactly “knock your socks off”. 😅
My friend's wife went from 90lbs in the Philippines to 150lbs in America 5 years later. She doesn't seem to care either, pretty sad for my friend who feels he got tricked.
these things come and go in waves. it is what it is. all i know is that i have lasted over 4 years. i cant put out a video a day like i did in the beginning.
