I can afford glasses for drinking - if I want to drink from flimsy easily broken glasses. My cupboard is stocked with pint sized mason jars. Can't finish that drink? No problem screw a lid on and store it in the fridge for later. Human lips conform to jar threads very well and the wide mouth jars are easy for large hands to get inside for cleaning.

If you eat fruit and meat at the same meal, it will give you indigestion. Best to eat fruit by itself....then a couple hours later, to eat your big heavy meat meal. Meat and vegetables together is OK. Also check for HPrilori bacteria in the stomach, which could be causing the problem, and very hard to geet rid of. D Mannose sugar might do the trick. I can't say for sure, but it might be better and safer than the super strong. antibiotics needed to get rid of it. All the best

I can fully understand you Tim coming from a vibrant place where everybody talks in English and then going to a province and nobody talks to you or sit with you when there's family gatherings. One I think pinoys are intimidated talking in English all the time they call it nose bleed. Second there are some English expressions that they don't understand so even if you make a joke they don't know how to react or don't know what to say because we are not used to hearing those jokes. I feel bad for you because you're such a funny and jolly person but it seems nobody from that place can relate to you

They always hammer you with the airport taxi fares. There's a nice Air Conditioned bus that runs pretty frequently (MyBus) from Mactan Cebu International Airport into the city for 50 pesos.

Surprised you flew to Cebu instead of the fastcraft from Hilongos. And if they cancel there’s Ormoc as a backup where three companies have fastcrafts to Cebu. But I do understand finding accurate schedules and ticketing is very frustrating. Enough to make a preacher cuss.

I am also partial to Sweet Baby Rays. If you can find Bushes baked beans add some sweet baby Rays sauce. Killer baked beans.
