Gabi is what we call Taro root here in the U.S. If that is your favorite. I would suggest to you if you ever go back to the Philippines. Try going to Bicol region. They are known for bicol express! Laing is one of them. try their jackfruit dish too. Anyway thank you for all the kind words about the Philippines.:)

Laing is diced taro leaves cooked in coconut milk and sometimes dried fish is added for stronger flavoring
