fillers aint ur friend

harsh truth - fillers DON’T always make you look prettier. they DON’T always make you look better. sometimes, they can make you look a heck of a lot worse. the normalisation and glamorisation of filler has meant that a whole new generation of young boys and girls think that it’s normal (and even expected) to get filler injected into your face. lips, cheeks, chin, jaw, nose, under eyes - ‘its just like heading to the gym’ says UK influencer Molly Mae. but filler is anything but normal. whilst it was originally created to help fill out hollowness for people in the throws of ageing, or illness, filler is now just a regular part of most people’s beauty routine. get your hair cut, get some filler. grab a latte, make your lips bigger. but with the rise in the normality of filler, so has risen the danger of black market fillers and practitioners. these counterfeit fillers are not only toxic, untested, unregulated and contaminated with odd substances that you really DON’T want to be injecting into your face or body, but it is incredibly dangerous to have an unqualified person inject you. let alone DIY it and attempt it yourself, as lots of people are starting to do.
bottom line? we need to look very closely at our obsession with fillers, and get clear about where we draw the line. bigger, is not always better.

most people get fillers to look younger and you wouldnt even know they had fillers. you only spot people who overdone it, have for example unnatural lips, and that's the way for you to cope with aging and soothe your ego.

Don't know why you're being so condescending. Especially towards people who are saying the way women naturally age is far more beautiful than artificial beauty. Don't know how you could disagree with that statement, or say condescending shit like "A way for you to cope with your aging and soothe your ego". Since all those women who get filler and "look natural" still aren't natural, so what's there to cope with? The thought that some women who get filler still look good? But they still get filler to look good, they still aren't natural, so there's no need to "soothe" any egos, because those women are still only attractive through fake, artificial means. It's like being jealous of an anime character, knowing damn well it's beauty is fake.

sadly that is quite common. I did a consultation for a "little bit of botox" and the woman told me I needed filler in places I didn't even realise was possible! Never bleached my hair because I knew I wouldn’t keep up with it, never bothered with makeup because I’m too lazy in the AM, never got hair removal or spa procedures or nails or Botox because I hated having to go back constantly to a salon. Now I feel good in my own skin in my 30s and save lots of money every month. My friends sometimes shell out over $1000 a month in various salons, and they are NOT wealthy people. I watched one of the LA surgeon videos on RU-vid. Obviously he is selling face-lifts but how he explained the way filler widens your face and causes permanent SQ fascia scarring I can understand the reasoning. Basically go big or go home with a full lift and stick with fat transfer for volume. Or maybe just get filler the few recommended places that lose volume with age. The gist was don't use the filler to plump the skin. It's not lifting that sagging skin you want tacked back to where it used to be, it's just plumping the area and making your face smooth but lumpy and huge. I don't remember what was said about lips but under the face skin is something people will pay for later. I guess the people that want a different face should do what they want but it is sad the world famous women are completely changing their signature looks rather than artfully preserving them thanks to bad advice. I think they got scared with the old school stars that had their eyebrows and eyes pulled too far the wrong direction. With the smoking and drinking habits back then I'm sure the wrinkles and skin quality was pretty bad and there was cheap, old technique, and bad work done.

Years later and the fillers migrated to the outer part of my lips causing duck lips and lumps everywhere. I am 55 and look my age, on good days a little younger😅 have done nothing to (or in) my face/body. I love my body, even though I am overweight. I love my face with wrinkles. I've had crows feet since I was 13. No probs with them. So sad to see woman and especially young girls getting lost in the idea of what a beautiful girl/woman should look like. It's our differences that makes everybody beautiful. That is, if you feel good about yourself. That means glowing from the inside. That is beauty. Lift each other up, in stead of putting another girl/woman down for not looking like the next one......

I'm 63. I have earned every wrinkle and gray hair I have lost too many loved ones to mourn my age. It's a privledge many never get to experience

I'm so glad people like you exist on RU-vid who not only calls out toxic beauty treatments and standards but also encourages to embrace and love natural beauty because it's the best! I'm 18 and got bodyshamed by my own mother when I was of 12 because I had hourglass body. Don't care about devotees of Kardashians and hate though! You are doing such a great job❤

@5:30…. GURL, since she didn’t use proper sanitizing methods, wasn’t wearing gloves, and she almost blinded you, please tell me you took some form of legal action against that clinic. That doctor needs to lose their damn license.

Fillers distroyed my features- they changed my smile, they migrated and made me look unnatural! I didn't need them, but I was told they are safe and will look good. This is not all... I had some disolved and since then my life has been a nightmare. My skin has thinned out to the point of being crepey on my whole body, especially legs, I had muscle athrophy, lost volume in my hands and I have joint pain. I am in huge emotional pain every day and I am not able to look in the mirror. My time is spemt to try to manage this symptoms and my savings went to doctors who didn't know how to help me. The injectors told me is all in my mind to protect their business. They should go to prison, what they do is hurting people and they are aware of it!

You got biopolymers, you got them just in your face or also butt area?

So sorry to hear that. The skin thinning, pain and muscular atrophy must be due to another medical condition though, is it? Or were you injected with dangerous silicone fillers that then migrated, causing those problems?

YOU made the choice to do that to YOURSELF.

@@ciarakristos111 I was injected with juvaderm and had some disolved with hyaluronidase. I don't have any other health conditions, hyaluronidase caused me all these issues and thousandhs of other women are in a similar situation, presenting their case on a facebook group.

Taking a placenta and sourcing collagen from it is actually the most humane and natural way to get collagen fillers IMO but i definitely stand behind everything else you talk about in this vid PREACH!!
