Filleting a Legendary "Prickly Fanfish" 

I was just at the aquarium in Osaka and kept classifying the exhibits as "Masaru has eaten this" and "Masaru hasn't eaten this."

I just looked up a young prickly fanfish and I think your assumption is absolutely correct, they're absolutely precious when small and very pretty colors too!

リュウグウノツカイの仲間なのかなと思ったのですが、こちらは美味しく食べれそうな感じでしたね🐟 目玉まで味わうの、ワイルド過ぎます！

that fish looks delicious after breaking it down, great that it tasted as good as it looked! & the simmered better! (it didn't look good at all) nice video!

It sounds like "mirin" was translated to sweet sake in English, haha. It's okay to just leave it as mirin. The other commonly used translation I've seen is when it is sold as "rice wine."
