leave it parked somewhere where its illegal to park, and wait for the tow to arrive. would be fun to see a normal tow truck blow the winch triying to lift this car!!! or the clutch also haha
A tow truck wouldn't blow a clutch on that. The cars total weight is probably around 3-4 tons or 6 to 8,000 lbs, which is roughly the average weight of a full size van/suv/pickup. At least older ones from the 90s.
For sale: Lada 2106 Low Rider. Very good shape. Drives and runs. Hot heat. Concrete reinforced interior. Voted as best car for demo derby competition. Won't last!
You, comrade, will cement your place in history as the first and last person to show concrete proof that the Lada is a badass car. The tires didn’t even pop. Nice job.
My friend, it seems you've got it backwards. Acceleration is what'd cause the neck snapping. Momentum (more accurately, mass), which is a component of momentum) is the enemy of acceleration. :)
I love this channel. It keeps answering questions nobody asks and proves how tough a car can be. Cause, if you ignore the excessiveness, most of this does happen in real life. Cars being overloaded, driving without an oil change, shifting from Drive to Reverse, or Park while driving, driving on the starter motor, putting in the wrong fluids, wrong fuel all kinds of abuse. Makes me feel proud my W203 has seen no abuse at all. Closest thing she has seen to very hard driving is a top speed run on the Autobahn (once).
yeah but this is an old soviet lada with a 1.5L engines. Those soviet things are indestructible. Usually poor people just pour used vegetable oil in the fuel tank and it has no issue for 300K miles. It's fuel consuming and destroys the environment but it just refuses to break.
Idk who lied to you but after 150k kilometers those engines just die even if they're maintained perfectly. There are thousands of them over where I live and I know many people who have them. They're garbage
No, it would have given up very soon after the video ended. You know life goes on after they stop filming, right? I'd be surprised if it would make 100 miles like this
As i sit here watching this, i can't believe the rear tires are Still holding Air, this car is actually driving under it's own power, & the frame hasn't snapped, even after 5 TONS of Concrete has been poured into it! Makes me think: They sure don't build them like THAT anymore....
Partly because russian tires are always hard as hell, like rock. Thus they are bad in wet conditions but in general, very durable. We used to get a lot of them here in Hungary.
the warranty of manufacture place to haven't been executed by the estasi, just go there drink a few rounds with the owner and ask for help they'll give you some old part of a scrapped veh somewhere to keep you running for 10 more years straight
The improved grip due to added weight should be beneficial in terms of straight-line acceleration and also cornering ability. If it wasn't for the exorbitant cost of concrete, I'm sure that almost everyone would perform this mod to their cars in order to enjoy the performance and aesthetic enhancements therein.
Ladas brake down every 100km but they are easaly fixable by just hitting it whit a sledge hammer for 10sec and it will run for another 100km and then there is the 1000km duck tape service that you have to make
I was looking at the stickers . I see Pirelli, Sparco, Eibach, all well regarded names. Then I see Rain Bird- a well known name, yes, if you're looking for lawn sprinkler systems. XD
The road was less than ideal for this experiment. :D I appreciate your determinations but it would've been enough to fill the car with gravel or sand for the same amount of load while having the ease to salvage the poor thing from being a concrete brick.
Lewis Zerlewski them little bottle jacks go up to 30 tons or more how do you think ppl jack up dump trucks and 5,tons is a full size diesel it just sounds like a lot since its a tiny car
nah there is 3 things we never spent money on in russia: roads, healthcare and education. all we need is vodka and army, you wont complain about bad roads if you are drunk xD
LOL. That car has a rain bird sticker on the fender. They make sprinkler heads and programmable units. Nothing to do with automobiles. It must be a joke.
LoudNProud in Eastern Europe and Russia people are not bright enough to google brands, like the "singer" sewing machine badges welded to the metal fence of house.:/
This was again an another great video comrad! I also had a nice idea. *Could you make a wooden exhaust muffler?* Would be interesting to watch! Would it last again those hot temperatures of the exhaust? And what about the sound? Could it be better or worse than steel...
I drove a Lada 2105 a couple of times, while i didn´t love it it surprised me in a good way, the experience wasn´t negative at all despite all it´s flaws. I particularly liked the 4 speed gearbox and the interesting torque, nice in the city. From that experience now is very easy for me to understand it´s success even considering the low price.
These cars are very easy to work on. You MUST be a mechanic or have money to pay a mechanic to constantly work on it. Ladas do require constant repairs although they tend to be more reliable than other Russian brands. Also, forget about crash safety because there is none. BTW, there are a few Ladas in the US. Just search nationwide Craiglist ads. There is a "Lada in the USA" RU-vid channel that belongs to a Ukrainian guy. He imported a similar Lada to the US and had it titled and registered.
so funny did you tell the guy who you brought the car off what you intended to do with it? after all it looks like the previous owners pride and joy and was probably sad to see it sold maybe he was in some kind of financial difficulty and was a last resort to sell this beautiful car and was hoping the new owner would look after it
there was some movie, dont remember which one, where they crammed a thousand horsepower and dump truck springs and brakes into a couple cars and stole like 12 tons of gold
If that is a Russian made car and still can drive a little I would like to see an American made car do the same or even a 1 ton pickup with 5 ton on it and drive.... how will win lol Lada...
John Wayne Is this me I moved a little over 1 cubic yard of concrete rubble in the back of my 1986 Chevy S10. Yes, it did it, but no... It didn't like it, when I got the brakes at 25mph, the front bumper would smash off the tarmac. haha twitter.com/BustersGarage/status/1004094190559596544?s=19
Now it needs to be destroyed somehow, so that the weight of the concrete will crush the front end. Maybe pick up the back end with a crane and drop it, or find a concrete barrier that it can be driven into, with a block on the gas pedal.
Usually the ladies don't have any interest in cars, or car modding, or doing crazy stuff to cars. They exist, it's just very rare. You are probably the only lady here, but who knows, there may be another lady here. With 57K subscribers, I'm guessing maybe 100 ladies total.
