Produced in New York and first syndicating the airwaves in 1946, Murder at Midnight was a classic horror series that featured macabre tales of suspense, often with a supernatural twist. By the time the series wrapped production, it had become one of radio's premiere horror series, featuring a memorable opening that had served as clear horror inspiration for generations to come. Although the series had only lasted a year from 1946 to 1947, listeners were graced with 50 episodes of pure terror. Featuring top notch writing from the industry's finest including Robert Newman, Joseph Ruscoll, Max Ehrlich, and William Norwood, Murder at Midnight has continued to frighten listeners up until this very day.
