Even after fifty odd years, I still keep listening to this song. What a mellifluous voice of Lata Mangeshkar. I am being enthralled and switched over to my childhood period. Those were the gorgeous days of peace and affection among every body. I was desperately searching for this unique melody. An undoubtedly glorious and unforgettable era, (10th February 2011)
Madhubala looks unbelievably beautiful here... she was so young and slim then most memorable song of all time with lata and talat, dilip and madhubala with passing years these sixty songs are getting more sweeter and melodiousness were those singers lyricists and music dire was not adored than by many but now we know he no less than in originality with lata.tribute.thanks
Real story of C Ramchandra! I wonder how he did not become insane while composing this song. Hindi film music cannot forget his great contribution. This song brings tears in listener's eyes.
This is among the greatest melodies composed by the everlasting C. RAMCHANDRA. He must be given the highest AWARD by the Govt of India even though he is not alive. zahir ahmed
Madhubala's beauty and acting and Lataji's songs will never be equalled ever. Even god loved her so much that he took her away from all of us at a very tender age. I only listen to Madhubala's old songs and cry a lot. She was absolute beautiful soul . Thanks for the song up load sjhobalia 8/13/2011 Sion Mumbai

I have read most of the comments by all the listerners and my guess is all of them must be in their 80s or over like myself, naturally they would love your choice of old collection songs.
Uncle! now I disclose some thing about Madhubala (Mumtaz). She was a Pakhtun girl of Yousaf Zai tribe of strict Muslim faith, from Swabi near Mardan in the Kheyber Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP). His father Attaullah Khan was serving In Imperial Tobacco Co, in Peshawar due to bad conduct he loose his job and proceeded to Delhi and then to Bombay (now Mumbai). Madhubala (Mumtaz) and her sisters acted as child stars in early 1940s films. Butt luck was with Madhubala (Mumtas) she became a star after the release of film MAHAL. Her father was so greedy that he married his daughters to Hindus for wealth and fame. I recently visited her native town, people of her tribe hate and abuse her father badly.
Bana kar tumhe apna kya hamne paaya Khushee lut gai chain dil kaa ganvaaya Bana kar tumhe apna kya hamne paaya Khushee lut gai chain dil kaa ganvaaya Bade gham sahe aur bahut dukh uthaaye Aisee muhobbat se ham baaj aaye Tasavvur me tumse hui kitanee baate Gujaree bahut jaag kar hamne raate Tasavvur me tumse hui kitanee baate Gujaree bahut jaag kar hamne raate Kabhee hamne chhup chhup ke aansu bahaaye
These are not just songs from the old movies but the lives stories of lots of beautiful people who been destroyed by some selfish crooks in the name of their fake loves who destroyed trusting young women around the world for nothing. Sorry, those selfish and money hungry dogs will not like my comments but I do not care because truth hurts but to be in the long run it worth it......
