@@mikedancoolguy4574it's a complicated ending, but still understandable.. the creator let you to imagine the ending by your own.. For me, The Fate still goes as it should be.. Aerith died, but Cloud just like imagine she was always there, along with their group.. In other imagination, it's an alternated ending for Aerith that dont died, which Cloud managed to save her from Sephiroth's masamune.
@@Tendz12no it’s more that she is in fact dead as we see everyone mourning her, ultimately Cloud is in such a deep denial of her death that he’s imagining her.
@@Guilherme-ms3ubliterally for Cloud she’s giving him glances throughout the song, Aerith is allowed to move on from her first love. The lyrics are all about Cloud and mirrors his theme aka Hollow which is about Cloud’s feelings for Aerith.
@@Guilherme-ms3ub it's for Cloud. The lyrics says "on our street", in Remake Aerith and Cloud first met on a street, while Zack met her inside the church. And she's writing the lyrics during Golden Saucer for a contest this is why choosing Aerith fits the most story-wise. We can also see it being used in credits, even in Remake all Aerith choices are in the ending credits.
@@Guilherme-ms3ubread what Loren Allred said, Outside of the recording booth, Allred’s process also involved finding her “connection” to the song, which meant spending a lot of time “learning about Aerith’s character, [protagonist] Cloud, and the story of Final Fantasy 7“.
the devs recently clarified that it's not actually for Cloud, or even Zack. It's for everyone in her journey that she has to leave behind. They have confirmed this.
Walking city streets with worn cobblestones Listening to people rushing past to rythms all their own Life passing me by, not thinking how the years have flown Until I met you I won't say that it was fate I won't say that it was destiny But if not, what could it be that drew you towards me? Could it be chance? Till the day that we meet again Where or when I wish I could say But believe-know that you'll find me Promises to keep-we won't ever need If only I'd never known All the burdens I was born to bear Lived a life without a care, in a world safe for you But that won't do Till the day that we meet again On our street, I want to believe In the chance that we'll share a glance Promises to keep-we won't ever need Till the day that we meet again At our place, just let me believe In the chance that you'll come, Take my hand, and never let me go Take my hand and believe We can be together evermore Walking city streets with worn cobblestones Struggling against the crowds and finding ourselves all alone Fate and destiny are no guarantee Still, I hope some day you'll come and find me Still, I know some day you'll come and find me
Don’t think you can pause the credits. It’s basically a video. However you can skip it and it’ll go to the menu showing your final stats and hours played.
It's an arrangement of Rufus's Welcome Ceremony theme and then his speech once the choir comes in. I haven't found a cut of it yet on youtube other than this credits theme. OST comes out next month on CD so hopefully by then.
@@donpula6349 yeah, some people must cover their ears when they listen to it. the lyrics say at “our street”, cloud and aerith meet ON loveless street. later in the game, cloud refers to the church as “our spot”… the lyrics in the song say “our place”. you really would have to completely change the song to say it’s not about cloud.
it's for Cloud. The lyrics says "on our street", in Remake Aerith and Cloud first met on a street, while Zack met her inside the church. And she's writing the lyrics during Golden Saucer for a contest this is why choosing Aerith fits the most story-wise. We can also see it being used in credits, And there is no denying that in the ending, Aerith is in love with Cloud for real now even though she's the first one to tell him "Don't fall in love with me". Because. no promises to keep. Broken promises is a recurring theme of FF7, even OG. Cloud promised to become a soldier (failed), Zack promises to return to Aerith (failed).. and so on. If we are to compare Aerith and Cloud, they both originally have failed first/puppy loves (Zack and Tifa). I am a huge Tifa simp, so trust me when I say this is how I see the devs went with these remakes. Even with choices, it's always the choices with Aerith in the ending credits and it actually fits "better" story-wise, as caith sit says "poor Tifa". lol
