Since people don't read descriptions these days this was left over footage that was sent to creators/press for the event we went for. I do not have the game yet
Wow! What a reimagining! We aren't getting Jaws - Sephiroth. This time he's more like Freddy, popping up when it's least convenient and more frequently. Such a polarized approach, and I love it.
@@piotrrodzen772 In the original Sephiroth had no particular interest in Cloud: he was just another clone he could control, but now he knows how important he is, so he has every interest on keeping him alive.
@@Halcon_Sierreno capping damage so the boss can do something cinematic is stupid. Losing your limit break because it changes phases is stupid. If you think the boss fights are the best part of the game, you're stupid. Sorry your parents dropped you so much as a baby.
I’m sorry but the acting and characterization was the best part, I now give a shit about the characters, and that’s a big deal as I don’t care for any character in 7 besides Cloud and Tifa
For those who have played the original and watched the movie FF7AV. Surely everyone will remember the scene where Sephiroth tried to control Cloud in FF7, in FF7AV is the scene where Kadaj mixed cells into water for the children to drink and controlled the children. Or even in the game FF7CC, the ability to control and control genetic clones was mentioned, in the case of Genesis. Therefore, it can be affirmed that, for individuals carrying the Jenova gene, they can control others through their cells in the other person's body. Cloud is implanted with Sephiroth's cells after the events at Nibelheim in FF7CC. Therefore Sephiroth can manipulate minds, create illusions and lead Cloud in the direction he wants. It's just that we don't know to what extent Cloud is affected.
@@Dr_OneWing Not necessarily. It’s featured too many times in other games by this point. They didn’t change Nibelheim either, which is based on Niflheim
If I'm being honest, I feel like the names are its own thing for this world. It makes it more unique. So uhh. I feel like they could have called it "Midgarsormr" on purpose.
The Midgarsormr terrified me the first time I tried crossing the swamp back in the day. It was one of my worst nightmares represented on a modern screen.
Was that the whispers trying to keep the timeline the same as OG by having cloud survive and sephiroth kill the midgar zolom ? They came up with a good scenario
6:04 Cloud (in his mind): Hey, buddy. You okay? Cloud: Yeah. Cloud (in his mind): Made it through with just a couple of scraped knees back then... Cloud: "Back then"? Cloud (in his mind): Whaddya say? We doing this? Cloud: Have we- Cloud (in his mind): Never mind about that. Right now, you need to focus on yourself. Move something, anything. Cloud: Why not... Cloud (in his mind): Good. Easy does it. Slow...and steady... Cloud: Yeah, yeah... Flower Peddler: Hello? Cloud: Hey, uh... Who are you? Who are you!? Sephiroth: I AM...your everything. In the Hebrew language: Yahweh/Jehovah = I AM Sephiroth = Emanations (Your Mirror Angel) Which makes Jenova = I AM NOT Jenova is the main villain.
I'd like to know what the heck is up with 'Wrong Sephiroth' who seems to have entered this timeline from another. Well I guess another, another at this point. My guess is that Wrong Sephiroth comes from a place where he didn't go insane. Well... More insane since he was always a maniac with questionable methods at best. So even though he's trying to do the 'right' thing being a psychopath means that he'll attempt that by any means necessary.
If this is supposed to be the world serpent from norse mythology, the name midgardsormr is in norwegian «midgards ormr», «orm» means worm/snake in norwegian, if anyone was wondering…
It's just a character that appears in a few Final Fantasy games. In Final Fantasy 14, Midgardsormr if the father of all dragons. No idea if it's a nod to the mythology but it would be cool if it was.
@@JorgeM270 Yes. To my knowledge, Cloud has to be in the party for the majority of the game. I am quite sure, however, that once you beat the story you can play without cloud in your party.
Sephiroth saves cloud. Fake or not he saved him. What could it represent is either to show he cares or the opposite to display a show of power to insight fear.
@@treytavares1727 i see. So to put fear in cloud to be his puppet?? Because with that thought why wouldn't Sephiroth get the materia himself..this isn't a problem in the original because this scene of Sephiroth saving cloud isn't there...so why
@@araiiaraii9249 I don't know why they did this in the remake, I personally think it's stupid. Doesn't even make sense with how he kills the snake, just aeroga onto the tree? Not as cool as I thought when I played the original. Will play it when it comes to PS Plus, but don't care to buy it.
Not to spoil you but Sephiroth literally says in mutliple FF7 works that he needs Cloud to live in order to continue to exist. As long as Cloud, and the Jenova cells in him, are aware of Sephiroth he can keep himself in the lifestream
he didn't, but this time it is a Sephiroth who literally anchored his soul to Cloud, and probably needs him to get the black materia since out of all the Sephiroth clones Cloud is the currently the most functionnal
i wish it had a couple of adjustments to battle modes, like an Active combat mode where it doesn't slow down the battle when selecting commands, or where you can adjust the speed. Classic combat mode also needs this option to feel close to the original, with some adjustments to the way ATB charging works. It would give options both closer to real-time combat, and closer to the original command based ATB mode
So this is only the second part of a 3 part series? I ask because I would like to play this game but I wanna wait until they finish the game and the price comes down so I play the whole game for one retail price.
