nah thats a waste of money. just gain the power of background music that plays whatever you want like an invisible mobile stereo. that way you can play boss music and people can say why do i hear boss music unironically. XD
Aerith: Where did you learn how to play that music? It gives me the chills... Cloud: ... I really don't know. Sephiroth: [smirks as an illusion behind Cloud while eating donbei udon]
Cloud is slowly ending up like Sephiroth not just by losing his mind or occasionally using Sephiroth's iconic sword stance, but by playing his boss theme on a piano.
Took me a while to realize since the remake whenever you Limit Break Cloud is pretty much Copying Sephiroth, I am so ashamed that I didn't realize sooner. At least in the OG he is more Copying Zack.
I'm Grade 8 on the piano and have been playing for 32 years, and I have to say that the official sheet music for One Winged Angel is beyond my abilities. It's a hugely technically demanding piece. Kudos to Cloud for playing it so well!
@@kennethforman5265 The song honestly isn't suited to being played on the piano. You need an orchestra (and preferably a choir too!) to do it justice. I feel the same way about Darth Vader's theme. Even a grand piano in a concert hall just doesn't have the "oomph".
@@jamesgravil9162 I feel on you on that. the version I love most is the advent children version and thats the one where its guitar and drums with the choir that makes the song amazing. piano is like....too beautiful for one winged angel. i'm not a musicians so this is how i interpret in a way that agrees with you.
@@kennethforman5265 I saw an interview with Nobuo Uematsu once where he said that a major inspiration for One Winged Angel was Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze. So the Advent Children version of the song is probably the one that's closest to the composer's original intention. It's a testament to Uematsu's genius that he was able to create such a fantastic soundtrack using MIDI! One thing Remake and Rebirth absolutely get right is the music, in my opinion.
Fun fact, regardless of note speed, you still have to press the direction at the same exact time, that's simply telling the game how much of a warning to give you, which is why some people find it easier on higher note speed as it's purely reaction based instead of seeing the note and waiting for it to hit the great radius.
I mean, in Remake he performs a complex dance with next to no prep time flawlessly, people compliment him on his piano skills, and leads a battalion's parade so well the infantry division wins... Cloud really might have been talented in the musical field if not for becoming an infantryman.
OMG I just kept my jaw dropped as the song continued. The tempo is really insane and you really managed to get the perfect score. It almost felt like I am listening to the official piano version instead. Thank you for sharing this!
You need to know the patterns for 5 speed but it doesn't need to be harder. Normal gives you a little more visual help but it also causes more good/bad ratings, on 5 speed you either miss or hit so in some cases it can be helpful. There is also less overlaps between notes when there is a long sequence.
@@davynox5245 wow she has been promoten for just 1 day? You spoil her man, Boyfriend of the year! Not me being a girl and doing the opposite with my boyfriend 😅
After finishing , cloud gave a small smile and looked out the nearby window. Yet when he looked out, he saw sephiroth fogging up the window, a smile that stretched from ear to ear and said "cloud, would you like to eat some donbei udon with me?"
@@426Studios no you only get it if you obtain every collectible in the game, so you should pretty much have a platinum once you get it. Hard mode is all that's left for a platinum.
I was so bummed to find out you needed to pretty much 100% the game to get that sheet music to play in the game. Still a long way out lol. One of my favorite Nobuo Uematsu compositions. Side bar- HIGHLY recommend seeing this performed live. A room full of thousands of people all yelling "Sephiroth" in unison is priceless and an experience I would gladly do again.
I saw his first live US performance at the Universal Amphitheatre "More Friends" and I have a CD recording of the soundboard from that performance. You haven't lived until you've heard it performed rock style by the "Black Mages" and Nobuo on a guitar rocking out!
@@eauvni Congrats,I want to play OWA as well but that freakin requirements too much, just finished the game yesterday, I need to recover from that more traumatic/crazier ending than the OG counterpart, I might comeback once the major update releases
This is amazing. You have crazy skills to get all jonny trophys then perfect score on this. I’m 96 hours in and can’t beat fort condor phase 1 without a guide
@@williammckinney5213 If you look VERY closely, some of the white keys are being pressed in certain places when the camera is at Cloud’s back. It’s kinda hard to see on a phone, but I was able to see it.
Even in an actual FF7 game where you already fight him, Sephiroth still somehow manages to be an optional super boss in some shape or form by having the hardest piece in the piano mini game.
Funnily enough, you need to 100% the game to get this song for the piano mini game (well, 100% Johnny’s Hotel display, which is damn near the whole game).
Cloud, the man of many talents. "why" you may ask, or even, "how". The answer is simple, abundant remakes, inclusions into other games, and *minigames*
I remember watching this 2 months ago when I started the game and I finally got the sheet this week and got 100% after a few days. I remember thinking this looked impossible.
