Can anybody explain to me wtf is gojng on in the video? I am clearly missing something becuse I am using windstorm, banishment, doppleganger, but my dps is shit. I keep getting to the last group and running out of time because the fing Corneotaurs take so long to kill plus they spazz bombs everywhere.
I had First Strike, ATB stagger, ATB Skill, and an accessory that gives you haste at the start of battle. You basically want to equip anything that can get you ATB faster. In the fight ensure that you have doppelganger up and use Banishment II/III on the big Cactuars when they stagger.
Hmm what about speed up materia? I think I had that on too. But you're saying the damage overall is just lower? Are you using Windstorm when the weapon is thrown? It's better to use it when it's in your hand.
@MakoSOLIDER yup, speed up. Using it when it's thrown to do more physical damage to the green ones, using it when the shuriken is in hand to do more magic damage to the orange ones. Using the strongest attacks on the big ones when they're staggered. Doing all of it. Nothing works. Can Barley crack 4500 before I run out of time
@@LonelySoulGaming94 the windstorm skill? It's one of the earliest skills Yuffie can get from the Twin Viper weapon. Try some weapon shops if you missed the chest that contained it

Square Enix REALLY need to remember what makes FF great. This is NOT It. This just proves (again), that SE can not do action combat. They did good in Remake, but this fast phased gameplay with horrible controls is just not fun at all. Does not feel good. SE is not ready to pick pu the fight with God of War and these sorts of games. Just stop.
No wonder this game bombed. Its total trashy carnival game cheating program garbage. Its like playing NBA jam in the arcade. Or feels like having your money stolen at a carnival game. Square enix sells shit.
