It is from a lack of them. I know it's not Sony's fault, certain components can't be manufactured as quickly due to Covid so they can't produce the consoles as quickly. All the same, they can't expect to sell too many games until they are more widely available and maybe they ought to take that into account.

Or at least over the course of that day. Which makes me wonder if Yuffie is still going to be in Midgar when the Sector 7 plate falls. If so then she could be used to explain both how Barret and the others knew of the plan to drop the plate before Tifa and Cloud made it back with the info, as well as how Biggs managed to get away from the pillar and survive the fall of the plate.

Hey, on the off-chance that the one shouting that line is telling the truth, it WOULD be worth looking. Seriously though, considering that the Chocobo & Moogle + Fat Chocobo summons both demonstrate that Moogles do, in fact, exist in the FF7-verse, it's not a completely unreasonable thing to shout. It's kinda like shouting "Look! A Bald Eagle!"

Its cool to see this kind of DLC for Final Fantasy VII Remake but it seems counter intuitive to keep it exclusive to the PS5 version when everybody has this game for PS4. Devil May Cry 5 gave us the Vergil DLC for both PS4 & PS5 so I think its a really bad move to lock this DLC to exclusively to PS5 unless they plan to give us this for PS4 somewhere down the line.

Considering how they never updated the textures of the PS4 version, I'm guessing they decided to focus everything after VII REMAKE's release into the PS5 versions and mostly leave the PS4 version alone

@@lindsaymonroe567 Yeah maybe your right but it still feels a little unfair to exclude the DLC from PS4 owners of the game and I personally don't want to have to buy a PS5 just for the sake of playing DLC content that realistically could be optimized for PS4 if given time to do develop it. I mean I eventually plan on getting a PS5 when there is a more plentiful amount of stock as I refuse to pay scalper price for it.

Idk, I think it's a smart business decision since its FF7 remake content; it's going to sell consoles just by being only on ps5. The goal isn't really to sell as much of thr dlc as possible, but rather to sell ps5 consoles

I figured they would add her and, eventually, Vincent as an option. Both are optional and easy to miss in the original game, but fans of the original would be in an uproar if they were completely removed from the remake.

Same. I always got her as soon as she was available for getting and always had her in my party if it was an option for her to be in it. She isn’t the strongest, but I love her long range weapons and the slicing sound was always very satisfying.

@@sapphiro they're not going to announce a PS4 version. They did all the work to upgrade lighting, effects and textures for the base game, yet they didn't announce a PS4 version of this content that seems to use many of the same areas with all those assets in hand. It's not happening.

It was fairly obvious that the rest of the game would be on ps5. So even if this dlc was on ps4, eventually you will have no choice but to play on ps5 since it will take yrs to get the full game.

@@ImLikeYouIHaveNoName247 It’s only like 2 chapters and Square had confirmed that they cut content from the game in order to meet their April 10th 2020 deadline for the release of the game. This new DLC stuff was probably going to be in the base game originally but it got cut at the last second. I doubt this will distract Square from Part 2. They’re a big company.

@@MajorasLullaby Shinra's dirtiest secret. Think SOLDIER but with way more modifications, psychosis and experimental tech. In the original they were buried under Midgar for 3 years post-Meteor, until a recovery crew accidentally let them out. Afterwards, they set out to kidnap as many people with lifestream energy untainted by Chaos (Vincent's final Limit Break, which is actually a planetary WEAPON like Ruby, Emerald, etc.) as they could in order to sacrifice them en-mass and summon Omega, the final WEAPON... And they succeeded. Whether you like Dirge of Cerberus or not, them showing up is kind of a big deal.

should have been available for both consoles but i think square enix ditched the ps4 version because of the time so they can work on sth else (Part 2, XVI). From what i heard, making games on PS5 is much easier than PS4 because of its SSD and computing power.

There is no dlc for the PS4 as of now. If you have a PS5, the upgrades are free, but the dlc is going to cost. No price for the dlc yet
