@@tmcttf8087 I love it There are a couple of things I take issue with most being in a recent game but other than that I enjoy it very much and would hate to have those mock busters anywhere near it unless they are shown as a post apocalyptic future that the player is tasked with stopping

@@mix1947 Because first of all what they sell is extremely over priced, for example Master Chief who costs 200 bucks with a bundle is expensive because in the end its just skins, second of all the game is very repetetive and the community is filled with children

Not really. The reason mobile games are popular in the East because ppl can play games at work or anywhere they want to. Compare to EU and NA, majority of the network structures and public accesses are far more moderate. By that, I mean you usually don’t have ppl who live at a bar or a home shop in the West. Business is business, they are very classified areas. Moreover, you might not know but the reason why moba is more popular also because the pricing is cheaper. It’s actually the reason why games usually region lock in which they can control the economy where a country has published it. Otherwise, they would just block the IP. Cost turn into money, money turn into demand and the price goes up. It also has more things to do with marketing strategies that not work in other countries because of the laws (gacha is banned in Middle East btw) while in several others, they either have a better regulations for them or consider it as an business opportunity to circulate the money from getting out of the country). In addition, it’s closer distance travel and cost of living is lower so ppl get more money to themselves than the government able to know. A lot of it always come down to business model. If you want a f2p game, you probably need to pull out a slot machine or something that work in return from whales. If you’re a p2p game then it will need to be more polish and updates frequent. The idea of paying for conveniences are usually holding back by the subscription fee and bills that ppl pay more in Western countries compare to Eastern with the same amount or lower (tax also heavy in most developed countries while lower in developing countries to gather more investors). What objectively in that would be you pay for one game and everyone in your family can play it with a setup plan that might only available for those who work for the government or related. However, lately, the numbers of ppl actually against monetization are getting fewer in the West. What ppl usually bashing are games that not success due to bad regulations or lack of support. It’s not like the idea of mobile gaming is bad whatsoever. On the side note, if you live in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, and smaller countries. You can see that they have more local supplies than bigger countries or those who live in a mountain area that block signals or access to outside world. A country population and transportation can decide on how much money they can make as you know those places never sleep and they are hard on social networking compare to larger countries with less density of ppl to spend on something that they can keep it for years.

Another thing to remember that you have 1.5 billions ppl in China and more than half of the population in the East. That decide those who actually against something is smaller because there are tons of games that f2p and ppl can jump shift on that not just video games.

@@jaybomb5638 Kitase has been producer since FFX though, so it's not a surprise. Nomura was basically the shoe-in for director because he's much more recognized than Hamaguchi, who will be directing the rest of VIIR (though it's basically the same team setup as Remake since Nomura was there as an advisor for the most part anyway).

@@Aqua_Sol It was honestly pretty dumb. You had to have good medals so for the most part you had to spend money and you had to be in a party willing to raid for hours on end. It required no skill to play if you had sight and I say this because one of the top players is blind. I quit a while ago so I can't say for sure if he still plays but he was dedicated. During raid weeks, he'd grind 20 hours a day for 7 days. Most of us played while watching TV or something. We barely ever had to look at our phones after a while.

@@nate6045 As someone whos been playing since a couple months of the game's launch. I never spent in the game itself but it was hell keeping up with the actual ingame whales lol, especially when actual PvP was thrown in. Managed to stick with it and by the time the game announced it was closing its doors I still had a nice 62K jewels in storage. I'm glad it's ending but another part of me's gonna miss it. Ah well.

@@Star64DX I was one of those whales. Eventually I found out that if I created a few alt accounts and horded jewels during events, I could wait until I got about 100k on one account, wait for a banner that gives me what I need, and build a mono keyblade with 300% raid bonuses on everything. I had an account for each type and would just rotate them out depending on what the boss was that week so I could stop wasting money.

@@nate6045 Ooh that's kinda interesting actually. It took forever but after I had my 2-3 keyblades built I was set. Some difficulty on epic bosses depending on the type but it usually wasn't a problem. It's cool to hear how other players approached stuff like this.
