1:44:10 - Good to see the "FF13" hate is still going strong. And I don't mean just here on this channel, but in many places as of late. That's got to be one of the single most overhated games that I know of. I won't go defending that it's an amazing game/trilogy but I feel that it's no where near being as bad as most people put it. I mean, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and all that but yeesh. Feels like most people are hating on it just because it's the popular thing to do. It just makes me wonder when it's going to start getting some more appreciation. Most of the "FF" entries after "FF7" I've noticed usually enter this phase for some time where it seems like everyone starts crapping on them for one reason or another until they suddenly are liked again. A recent turnaround example is "FF12". I remember it being really disliked quite the bit back in the day but it's finally gotten around to being fondly remembered somewhat recently.

1:48:20 What is Jared talking about? Final Fantasy 13 sold absurdly well. FF13 (just the first one) has officially sold 7.49M copies. That is way more than FF11(3M), FF12(5.95M), and FF14(3M). In fact FF10 only sold around 500,000 more than 13 did at 8M.

I'm about 15 hours into this game and in Chapter 3 and I'm still completely in love with FFXV. For all the hiccups this game has due to a decade long development, with as good as the end resulted ended up being, I'm very excited for the FF7 remake. This game has really sold me.

There actually is a video of Gilbert Gottfried reading a bunch of video game lines including Fus Ro Dah, "war, war never changes"and the speech Liquid gives about genes in MGS. Guessing the chat knew about that but Jared didn't.

Honestly, if there was a channel on here where all it was was Gilbert Gottfried dubbing over a whole bunch of really serious video game scenes, I would subscribe to that in a heartbeat.

I know you have various things going on Jesse so you can't be expected to remember everything but you really need to watch the end of that movie again .. Nix dies as per the old Kings said he would .. that was the entire point of his Sacrifice for Luna and Noctis. Nix's friend survives but remains in the city .. protentionally as a rebellion later as the movie seems to hint at.. There is no third guy .. Luna and Nix's friend is it, they are the only ones to survive the conflict .. though there may be some KingsGlaive around.. though none of them have their magic .. The question I want to see in the game is *why does Noctis* ? have his powers.. he's trained as a KingsGlaive but doesn't have the ring.

I dunno why Jesse is so disappointed to find nothing in that dungeon after he's already cleared it. EDIT: These characters are so fidgety. They can't stand still in a one minute conversation.

man, the final fight in Kinsglaive was completely sick, one of(if not THE) coolest scenes in all of Final Fantasy.

My fave thing about the "Battle at the Big Bridge" theme is listening to this one guy on RU-vid who did the BASS only version of it, and it was so fantastic that whenever I head this song I can actually hear the BASS more prominently and it makes the track 100x better!

As someone from utah, thats driving through southern utah, northern utah is clinging on for dear life as you drive through a winding mountain pass in a snowstorm trying not to get run off the road by some tourist in an Audi.

The stamina bar is only to show your available stamina, its off by default because most people dont like another UI element on screen, the Stamina system is always on, there is no such thing in the game as unlimited stamina.

Jesse you made me go watch Kingsglaive, pretty good movie, looked great! But then again i'm a sucker for future stuff with magic.

Clash on the Big Bridge is such a good song. Especially the version by The Black Mages (A rock band formed by current and former Square Enix music composers).

I love this game, but the sidequests are the most inane I've seen in any game. They go on FOREVER. Fetch this, get a photo of that, collect these, and it never ends. It's the same characters giving an almost endless stream of quests. I finally stopped caring after I was 20 levels above the story mission I was on.

The best part of this video is when Jared left.

Yes I distinctly remember playing FF13, got to the open world bit and though "finally the game begins", then an hour later they said "this is the final battle are you sure you want to proceed!" and I just stopped playing... I seriously don't get why it was popular in Japan though, the only thing I can take from that is they love tutorials and think if you don't grind 20 hours for a level you don't deserve the level.

I don't understand what final fantasy even is.

Just wanted to say after beating the game that despite a few hiccups this game felt like a return to form for FF after the train wreck that was the XIII trilogy.

deference between me jesse playing this. I play and try make higher power, while jesse does tank strat and does more health. i use the king weapons more then my regular ones.

I was meant to ask you about my grades!" and them looking back at you dying with a look of "why?!"

Omg JESSE... you assigned them all the wrong element, it's Latin, Noctis is night, Ignis is fire.. it literally means fire, prompts means quick/ready, like lightning, a quick bolt like his gun, one and done. And gladiolus, gladio means sword, like gladiator, and the last element is ice, maybe because it sounds like glacies-ice, or glacio-freeze, maybe noctus is meant to be Ice though idk
