The summons in this fight are so cool, because now instead of being a little wimp that summons help and cowers behind it, It actually feels like Noctis is comrades with the Gods he summons, and that they come freely. One things for sure and Noctis isn't scared of shit anymore, he's become a badass.

Shiva is my favorite summon in the Final Fantasy series. When this part happened, and then the words 'Diamond Dust' appeared at the top of the screen, I got hella big chills.

For those confused and pissed off byt the story or lack there of . let me further that feeling . Do you know that ifrit is actually the reason fro everything ? he betrayed the other gods ( don'lt know why ') started a war with em and for that purpose started the star scourge . so yh all daemons are made by ifrit .... how do i know this ? well square enixlike the geniuses they are , instead of putting the MASSIVE bit of information in the game , guess what , they put it in the fuckin guide .... THE GUIDE ????? like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ?

This is my favourite boss fight in the game. The music is awesome. Especially, I like the moment when Shiva appears. Even fighting Ardyn isn't that epic.

The way this played out with the summon was perfect. Music fit perfect to go with it. Just the whole mood of the fight.

Ifrits dead body is at the rock of Ravatough, his horns can be seen at the top. This is the pyre where he laid Eos to rest, you can see her wing pointed skyward. The crystal is literally her heart, or a piece of it. Ifrit is seemingly another tragic character, who initially just wanted to save Eos. He likely picked up the starscourge in the underworld when he went in to get her.

Ifrit is stereotypical Satan. Ardyn is the Anti-Christ. Noctis is the Messiah. Those who beat the game will easily see the connection lol.

I ain’t gonna lie, I low key wish we could have this ninja, parkour badass Ifrit as a summon.

When Shiva gave Ifrit the kiss of death, her extremities turn the bluest of black and little tidbits like that get me like hnnnnnnffff this is so beautiful and tragic.

if it wasn't obvious enough, Ifrit is blind. pay close attention to the fight and his actions, it's more than clear that he doesn't have his vision

Of all the RPGs I played in my life (I’m talking since Nintendo days) this was the best boss battle I had played in a long time especially the best intro line I ever heard in video game history “Stay cool = he’s gonna bring the heat” lol wow just amazing.

FF has amazing summons...Shiva is always captivating. The amount of ease she does with Diamond Dust but extremely dangerous has always been my favorite. Cold is also one the most dangerous elements for any living being. You're entire being is shut down and you can be disintegrated immediately after.

The Aranea & Ifrit Boss fights have a Dissidia feel to them. NICE!

I considered ifrit the true final boss and Ardyn like yu yevon or orphan in terms of boss battles.

I just completed this fight, and the end of the game, today. Initially I was kind of disappointed as I started playing the game, but I ended up loving it, and this fight in particular is so freaking awesome!

That kiss has a lot more meaning now...

Something about this reminds me of Ghostbusters. Just the four guys running to a demonic deity in the middle of a big city.

I've been looking at a couple video about this fight and none seems to understand it. If you notice When Ifrit is on fire he gains an invincibility\damage buff. When he attacks use loses his flame and your attacks take a considering amount more of damage. This is why using blizzard works so well. Basically just keep him in an open space and attack him as soon as he attacks you. Use Blizzard as much as possible. This will save you alot of time and potions lol

I didn't piece this together, but if anyone wants to learn more about Ifrit, look up "Pitioss revelations" on reddit. It's long, but interesting.

That was a hell of a fight

I fought ifrit until his hp ran out but nothing happened, he just kept fighting at full potential. Is there something specific I need to do? Like make him step on the water? Any help would be great!

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, he is down to his last health and it won't let me summon and i just can't defeat him.... I keep waiting to be prompted but nothing happens.

Well that fight went on longer than necessary. Don't know why you didn't go with a Quintcast Blizzaga. It pretty much pummels Ifrit.

Ignis is the only character whose vocal performance comes off as compelling, authentic, and strong. Truly involved with the events happening to him / around him. You can hear it throughout this fight.

When bahamut actually is the real vilain of the whole game and when you learned that originally, the end game was a party with Noctis, Luna, Ardyn and Aranea fighting against bahamut as final boss... FF XV could've been a master piece with that, if they'd have did it for real

Bahamut and Ifrit look cool in their humanlike form. Bahamut just looks like a dragoon knight in armor and Ifrit being a Greek god man with giant horns tho i wish he had dark skin it would look better tho

I’ll tell ya, one of the mechanics I hated about this game is casting spells could hurt your allies. Like. It’s almost impossible to cast anything without Prompto screaming in pain.

Okay. Ahem... I know I'm going to get a LOT of hate for this, but this battle is my favorite of all time. And, yes. I have played ALL Final Fantasy proper. No spin-offs. I did beat the 1st tactics. I wanted to play Dirge, but I started a family and had no time. Eleven & 14 can't actually be "beat," but I started new chapters. This Ifrit battle was BOSS! Even though I miss turn based. Did I love Kefka? Yes! Sephiroth? YES! I have "One Winged Angel" as a ringtone. But THIS... this was epic.
