The great thing about these movies is they really make you appreciate how talented the professionals who worked on the originals were

Arnold fought the undead sorcerer, fought former US special forces, fought predator, fought tyrant in Mars, became a babysitter, fought terminator, became a turbo-man, fought batman, fought satan, fought Columbian terrorists, became a governor, team up with Rambo, fought cartel, fought terminator again. This man is a true legend.

Everybody is talking about who the strongest Terminator is, but all of them would be helpless if Magneto showed up.

When the girl says, "I'm not running" like she is making some heroic stand, it really takes away from the idea of bravery when she then proceeds to hide behind 3 other people to fight her battle for her. Even Sarah had several shoot outs with the T-1000 and even destroyed a T-800.

I will say the newer films never cease to emphasize how tanky T800s were. The way he yeets the Rev-9 at the wall makes me laugh every time

I look at the comments of this movie and then I look at the comments of T2 Judgement Day and I see why T2 is just a pure masterpiece. Literally everything in T2 from the weapon sound effects, music score, camera angles, minimal CGI, script, lighting etc etc… it is all just perfect. Like the shotgun in this film literally sounds like a toy compared to the shotgun in T2…

In the first 2 terminator movies, I was constantly on edge for the safety of good guys, they seemed helpless . In this one, it’s opposite, I am worried for the terminator. It was ganged up, tossed around like a rag, hopelessly trying to reach its target.

Sara's clutch at 3:05 was so badass and amazing feat, it displays timing, reflexes and experience of a veteran Human against the fookin terminators.

Let's all agree that the REAL Terminator timeline ended with Old Sarah and Congressman John Conner. All these unnecessary sequels/reboots are just strange glimpses into alternate timelines.

The first time I've wanted the Terminator to win

The more gadgets and abilities they gift each T-model with each subsequent film (in the typical sequel attempt to top what's come before), the more the resulting action looks just like another super hero action movie. Add "dialogue" and "personality" into the mix, and presto. Apparently nothing will beat the original, ever, despite its dated effects. Not only for its dramatically clever mismatch of making a vulnerable human face a seemingly unstoppable machine. But for the raw physicality and groundedness of the simple concept of a machine covered by skin -- that is, for as long as the Treminator isn't damaged yet. That's the stuff of legend and nightmare: The image of Arnie barely being able to disguise as a human anymore, barely being able to even move, smelling of rot and decay -- but still stoically trying to carry out his kill routines until he's finally terminated, fucker. It should be pretty clear by now that even Cameron only in parts got the appeal of that beautiful simplicity. Originally he wanted a liquid terminator in the original movie already -- same as the Cyberdyne subplot which bogs the sequel down (and had the antagonist disappear compleely for like half an hour plus). This was only cut due to budget and tech reasons. (T2 is still a great blockbuster action movie, mind).

I was hoping for T800 to say " Hasta la vista , baby " when he takes his last stare at Dani and Sarah when he was about to fall with REV-9 but he did not.. Sad moment... we will never see him again.

After T2, I’ve always rooted for the villainous terminator to win. It’s sacrilegious how easily they’re killed off

I love when the Rev has a chance to kill the humans, he just throws them instead of crushing them with a single grasp.

the real problem with these movies is T2's villain was just so damn good.

I don't see why people are giving Dani so much shit for not doing anything, she's a completely normal human being who is MEANT to just be a distraction for the REV-9, she isn't a terminator, or an enhanced human trained to fight terminators, or even an experienced terminator killer, she's just meant to be bait, and you all expect her to ACTUALLY try and help fight a dangerous terminator who can be in two places at once and who will stop at nothing to kill her?

Genisys and Dark Fate makes Rise of The Machines and Salvation looks like masterpieces.

This fight could and should have ended in seconds. Rev-9 is, in fact, the most lethal and the most badly used terminator; we have never seen an terminator with advanced combat skills, with such endurance and versatility; like, damn, the end of the movie has arrived and it was intact. In the beginning of the fight, he could have focused on the T-800, avoided the chain and possibly make it hit the T-800, instead of running blindly towards Dani. He could have killed Sarah before he ran again towards Dani - he was in full offensive capacity. He could have split in the moment when he hit the T-800 with the momentum and confused Grace. It could have stabbed Grace in the end, but decides to impale an enemy who is clearly not affected. It could have taken the shotgun from Sarah and shot Dani; could have thrown everyone into the turbine. Before, fighting an terminator was a matter of mind games and not strength, because we are fighting with a machine whose intelligence is all focused on the mission; we have never seen an terminator with the hacking ability like he’s. This could have been the most gorey terminator, but politics has already done as it will be. This is a movie about preposterous forces, this false feminism that has nothing to do with serious problems. It is a film to alienate and reflects the minds of the sick people of our time in which there is an illusion of power based on the stupidity of the other. Evil thinks, and thinks a lot, so let's be humbler and stop being stupid, militants in a way that makes us worse than our enemies.

I like the dynamic with the rev, the liquid form is flexible in the sense that it can take any form and can create weapons but isn't as strong as the t-800,while the robot form is stronger than the liquid form and is more durable, and when combined rev has the best if both worlds The robot form is physically weaker then the 800 because it's built to be more faster and flexible But the concept of the rev is sick if u think about it but when it gets it's ass handed to it all the time It doesn't look good

Let's all just pretend that the franchise ended after Terminator 2.

This film makes Terminator 3 seem like a masterpiece.

Stupid dialogue. Why would Dani say “I’m not running?” What’s that supposed to do? Scare the Rev-9? Impress him with her “courage?” He didn’t want her to run, he wanted to kill her, so it just made his job easier.

This is the only terminator movie that i haven't see. And this scene is good reason to avoided

I like how the T800 was able to throw the Rev-9 miles away but when faced with the T1000 in the corridor in T2 it matched him strength for strength

Since when does a Terminator negotiate?! Everyone who saw the first movie knows that it doesn't. To me, it's fascinating that not even Arnold, the man himself, had any issues with a movie like this. Still, the difference between some sequel and the real deal is and always will be James Cameron.

To be honest i simply love the universe and all their iterations and universes and feel like i can appreciate the good in everyone more than just trashing it because they didnt hold to some imaginary standards. I love this movie. Many things might have improved it but overall i just loved it. Really wanted a sequel but they usually just reward the people that dont want to see it more than the ones that love it. How bizarre. I just hope that the people that worked on it, from the cast to the crew and all the talent involved know that theres one person that loves it.

How incompetent are these robots where their human target is 20 feet from them with zero cover and they can't get the job done. A 9mm pistol would have finished the job in 2 seconds. This robot could have thrown a rock at her really really hard and it would have ended his mission successfully. I think these machines get sent in the past hoping to find their target napping in a bed.

Grace is the real hero in this flick. Although, i always love seeing Sarah Conner.

Worst part is how they stop to chat before fighting. In T2 the terminators never have a direct conversation, they just try to kill eachother at every opportunity, there was no need for them to talk.
