@@lrdjacob yeah i would agree with you, the sheer quantity of walls is just stupidly ginormous, he would have had to really rush the game to make so many. I usually only manage to build like 15 great ballistas or so by crystals, + 8 or 10 towers with arbalests, and i usually can't build walls (i don't think they're really useful, if your defense is in a good spot ) Even by selling buildings, it's just a ridiculous amount of walls.

I think hes playing at normal diffculty and its very easy to get these things

I don't know how it could be doable on the hardest difficulties. The game has a lot of growth it could do IMO. But, they also didn't charge $60 for their -essentially one trick pony- game.

early access game that's missing allot of content, they'll probably make it so you dont have to do this in hard difficulties

Ok one thing to consider is arbaleters in tower with 100% damage. That works really wonders

day 30th wave is pretty big. just need some nightmares to attack a stone wall forever and we can build up the whole map

@@elencoft For the most part they come out of the already broken crystal. If ypu clear the map and inly focus building walls on the direction they come from then you only need to fortify those region not your whole territory. It's not like They Are Billions where they surround you!

Im not really sure how this formula cant get stale after a while. Which isnt strictly speaking an issue. Its a very classically RTS formula. Only difference is that the AI isnt another player with similar abilities, but an endless horde. Id say the best way to spice this up would be to have a pretty diverse map generation mechanic, heroes that alter the way you end up playing (almost like different factions) and a decent length for a campaign mode (maybe utilising the different factions). Expanded maps with coop could also be a good addition where 2 allied people fight off bigger hordes. QoL improvements could be good, but the game seems pretty solid on that front as it. Other than what I mentioned, I cant even think what you could put in an RTS of this type to NOT make it repetitive after a few runs. I guess an element of meta progression, but that feels like it would be besides the point. Potentially in addition to a proper story driven campaign, have a randomly generated campaign, where the meta progression is upon finishing a level, you get to choose which direction to upgrade in (stronger walls vs stronger towers or something of that nature). Next level you could start with all your unlocks, but the level is harder. Make it a hardcore campaign sorta thing. Still, I believe most of these ideas are in the works in some way (new heroes, campaign etc) already.

Well that have 2 hero slots and then one that says something like "And more heros will join the fight". I reckon minimum of 5 come version 1.0

@@Thebuird Thanks, man. Yeah, I figured it out. Took 3 days to learn how to play and beat Easy. Then one day each for Normal and Veteran. I just beat Horrific after 2 days of trying. I don't think I'll be able to beat nightmare...my journey ends here, lol. Awesome game. Looking forward to new units and modes.

You can easily beat a wave with that much stuff on easy. I just did that. But target crushers with your arbs.

The highest difficulty setting is bound to even challenge the best. Normal can be mastered with a bit of practice, veteran simply demands a better economy/faster expansion. But the two difficulties above? They come into town with the PAINtrain.

Build warehouses by your stone quarries, the more storehouses, the more amplification.

@@cripz1436 Third playthrough on easy. Finally grew a brain and utilized pause. A gamer of his calibre could easily have done this, I rescind my original statement because it's ignorant af.

@@TheRealArmor "of his calibre" haha he did cheat btw, look at his income ;) +6 iron per interval and he has hundreds of high tier walls and severel upgraded balista towers. thats not possible.

@@MrSteuBaer I just.. idk if there are cheata for the game y'know? He might have just sold off all his stuff as he constructed his defenses. I'm not sure. But at first glance, it definitely doesn't seem legitimate.

@@arturvegis2571 I do not use cheats, from what I saw in other gameplays the final wave in the normal difficulty of 50k, it is in easy also what they complain about the cheats they did not notice that he sold the walls.

@@mr.froggy2383 selling walls does not magically give you infinite resources... look at his income and look at all the buildings. its straight up not possible to built all this stuff with this income. he also has max crystals which is really suspicious. i still didnt beat normal difficulty but going easy and use cheat codes is kinda lame.
