I love how the house is so cosy, homey and warm! I feel like people usually go for the contemporary minimalist style these days, which is nice, but lacks a certain warmth. This house looks like it will age well in years to come 😊
This may sound like a weird complement, but I love that your house actually looks like a home people would live in. It's not all to my aesthetic, but it's so cosy and comfortable looking, and doesn't give the kind of museum vibes that a lot of public people often opt for. Also the garden is stunning, it feels so secluded and relaxing

You are SO British. Your style on clothes, furniture, paint colors, the size of your house. I love it! You don’t live to please or DO what other people does, you do YOU. The fact you can comfortably buy from Anthropology, urban outfitters, and IKEA makes you so true to yourself. Yes you may have money now compared to when you started, but it’s not lost on you the importance of money ( luxury AND frugality at the same time) and knowing the value of it and of the people that watch you that come from different backgrounds. I congratulated you ! Please never change.
if the stove control nobs are labeled, they can be pulled off and moved to where they correspond. may have been hastily cleaned when the old owner left.
That would be my guess, too. Probably took all of them off, to soak them and thoroughly clean the stove. Things can get quite grimey, if this hasn't been done in a while. And then the person putting them back (professional cleaner?) probably wasn't familiar with the stove.

I love, how 'normal' your home is. I mean, obviously, living where you do, it would have been very expensive and all, but in and off itself it's really just a upper middle class family home. It's not a place, where a 'normal' person would feel awed and intimidated and 'out of place'. You're the rare influencer, who doesn't seem, like they're just pretending for the sake of being 'relatable'.
I was thinking exactly this while watching the tour, it's not saying it isn't v expensive, but it doesn't feel that way...? Like, "MONEY" isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I see their place, and I love that.

You can change the knobs on the stove. Figure out which dial does what and then change to the appropriate knob. Common moving home owner welcome. They did it at my place too.
this house is absolutely gorgeous, just looking at its sheer beauty made my day 10 times better. but it's also so cozy and warm and i imagine it must be so much fun hanging out there with friends and family

I was not keen ( hated it ) on that horse head painting you bought at an estate sale ---- but can't believe how good it looks in your formal sitting room , the horse cushions looked great too. The house looks great a real home , no wonder your family/friends are always staying.

Everyone is into aesthetic these days, the interior design focuses mainly on the minimalistic and "pleasing to eye aspect" that it feels like the house has no soul into it. I really love your house, that's what you could call a home, the one that you could really call your own, love those valuable stuffs and meaningfull details.🥰
You have a beautiful home and i want to congratulate you. I miss our home. We bought it when i was pregnant with my twins and owned it for 12 years and had a bad fire. I am thankful that the kids were in school and i was at work and my husband was doing errons but i so badly wish i was home because i could of put out the fire and it wouldn't of been so bad and when i called to file a claim with the insurance company just to find out we didn't have homeowners insurance it was dropped and we never got any notification. So now we are homeless living in our car. We are on waiting lists for help but in Rhode Island everyone is corrupted and we could be on these lists for years and we found out the people who know people get the help first. So please don't go threw a nightmare like me make sure your insurance is up to date.

OMG I was so enjoying this house tour. I just love what kind of person M and A are. I felt that personally, when she said, that she wants her house to be a cozy home where everybody enjoys to spend time at and not being scared to touch anything or sit anywhere. Wholesome! She´s so humble and funny at the same time. She´s not like other celebrities who are basically just showing of with their "picture" house

A clever suggestion for the family pictures is to buy those electronic frame things that connect to an app, and you can change the picture without taking the frames off the wall. It might be expensive to buy several of them but it would be worth it. They also cycle through the pictures- they change the pic without u having to change them manually.
this is like my dream home, it’s such a reasonable size and kinda reminds me of the home that i grew up in in terms of size and the lived in feel, just different asthetics! it’s so gorgeous!!

For the stove knobs, they may come off. Try pulling on one, not crazy hard, but pull. If they do then you may be able to put them on correctly. Most stove's knobs come off for cleaning.
I loved the mtv cribs “get out” at the end! Gave me a good chuckle. Solid, Andrew, real solid recommendation. Also, I feel like the master bedroom was the most masculine. I liked it, but seemed less like the rest of the house somehow… maybe it was the peanut butter walls 😂
