I upgrade my sim racing rig by fitting a Trak Racer Integrated monitor mounting system for aluminium profile cockpits.
After moving to my sim racing den i wanted to upgrade my cockpit with a good quality mounting system for my ultrawide monitor and as dieced to try the universal one by Trak Racer with my Sim Lab GT1 EVE sim racing rig.

nice one ! you looked well chuffed when you had set it up ... its nice too achieve a setup that fits our own needs like a glove .. each one different .. but equally special !

Cheers mate and I was really pleased with how it all turned out, and a little bit relieved as well after shelling out all that money without being 100% sure it was the right mount for my rig and the vision for how I wanted the monitor to sit in relation to my seating position. But I am really chuffed and has upped my sense of immersion with a much better located monitor.

A beautiful rig Mate. I plan to get one one day but getting past the Missus is my hardest job, that doesn't come with instructions either... LOL!

I think my wife has come to realization that it’s to late to say anything now as she can see I am far to far down the sim racing rabbit hole to stop me now 🤷‍♂️

@@SimRacingJason yep it is, although the arm is good for other games and watching videos/movies, it has the tiniest of shakes every now and again.

Looks awesome Jason! Glad to see the Trak Racer kit works well with the Evo. I have an Evo as well so it’s great to learn some mix and matching might work depending on use case.

I really need to do something about that cable management now I’ve got the rig sorted but I just can’t bring myself to get started. The mix and matching aspect was something I could not find a lot of details about so did have my fingers crossed at the time of purchase that it would all come together ok.

I think I just used the pictures on their website if I remember rightly. Once you get all the parts out you soon find out there’s not that many ways it can be built, plus I knew I was going to adapt it slightly to suit my needs better any way so just sort of winged it.

I took it off while I was moving the monitor as I just knew I would end up somehow scratching something as it’s all a bit close for someone as clumsy as me. It’s back on now mate.👍

@meecob yes mate it’s back and doing a great job for an age old Fire tablet that was hardly cutting edge when it was new ! These kind of jobs always run away time wise but worth when they are done and dusted.
