I like the front end swap, but I also think if you continue that tan 2 tone into the upper and lower plastic part of that bumper it would look so fire!

looks great! That tiny ding on the bumper can be carefully tapped out with a small block of wood from the backside as you lay the bumper face down on some heavy cardboard.
Paint match the upper plastics on the bumper the silver two tone color, my 01 Lariat looks pretty good with it. And if you want do the paint match on the lower plastics it would look real clean
IMO the gap makes it look good 👌🏾. Also paint match grille and billet with the two tone paint match upper plastic and a 4wd lower valance if ya wanna hide a lil bit of the suspension.

I think it will look good when you get done. Ultimately your decision. Larry brought me here a while back because I have a 97 F150 and I enjoy seeing what you do with it.
You gotta put the 99-02 4x4 lower valence on… it has fog lights. You can get a fog light switch for the inside and it’s a direct replacement… color match the top bumper pad and grill bro!
Didn’t really think it would make a difference but it looks great with the red trucks stuff and also totally random what kinda grass you got it looks great😂
looks wayyy better with that front end, might could do a lower valence with the fog lights. the bezel would look good the color of larry with a billet grill
i know it will be a long shot but, see if you can find a PIAA valance to put on larry. I know they were unicorns even 10 years ago. if not, i think a 4wd valence with fogs would look good!
02 front end with the plastics paint matched to the 2 tone silver with the grille paint matched to Larry’s green and then a billet grille insert or rockin the honeycomb would be 🤤🫠
I understand the content aspect but I say leave Larry OG and get a new old grill and bumper painted with that two tone you mentioned and call it a day!!! The plate is epic and much overdue!! Great work! 👍 L…A…R…R…Y…!!!
I'd color match the grille, then change out the middle insert and possibly add chrome or black billet insert. I think full chrome grill would be too much chrome on the front end.
All I have to say is if he paints the lower valance it’s because of my truck! He knows what my truck looks like and the colors because I offered him my spindles. Hopefully he sees this comment and knows he should do the upper and lower silver
Looks amazing although i actually have the opposite opinion of the bumper and like the old style bumper better. Mainly because I like that it’s mainly all chrome and doesn’t have the plastic bottom and looks higher and pointer (if that makes sense 😆) Although I have a 2001 F-150. Are you saying then if I were to swap my 01 bumper with one from a 97 or 98, the mounts on my truck frame will be smaller than the mounts on the bumper? And if that’s the case would you say it’d be easier to put an older bumper on the newer 10th Gen versus for you where you were putting a newer one on an older one? Idk if they would’ve made them interchangeable or not once they changed it. If that’s the case that It would be easier, than my interest in swapping my bumper at some point has increased 😆 I’m only doing it though if something happens to my current bumper. That’s what I had to do after the one on my old truck was smashed from a sign after a guy cut me off lmao
