Sorry gotta be that guy but they're venomous not poisonous. Poison is ingested while venom is injected directly via fangs/stingers/etc or absorbed through the skin. Which technically means the skill name "Poison Fangs" is inaccurate.

@@Kuroburo might be a translation thing, the guy didn't care so everything became poison.

It's in the lava zone and a lava fish. Meaning it's flesh is probably as close to being cooked as it can be without the fish dieing. So it may be like lightly grilled catfish with a lot of fatty oils that prevent it from burning away.

Spoiler for something at the end of season 1 (just an evolution) When she evolves into an Arachne, she notes (in the light novel) that her her spider head and her human head have different taste buds, and that raw monster meat and the stuff she ate as a spider tasted way worse when eaten using her human head. So, it wasn’t actually as bad as it could have been.

She also has 2 different animation styles which makes her unique

This is probably still not that good by human standards but by god It’d the best food she’s eaten in the x amount of time she’s been in the dungeon (Idk how long she’s been in there but im assuming like a month)

@@thetrashtrain3774 IIRC, she spends like 1-3 ish years in the dungeon. It's hard to tell for sure though, since she has no way of tracking time. Really, the only reason I can say this is the age of some of the other characters.

If there's one thing i've learned from seeing a lot of isekai series, it's that the more interesting and fun the protagonist is, the better the story inevitably will be.

@Ousmane S I went to a more prestigious high school, which labeled itself as a school of Science & Technology. That meant that in the late 90’s they had the best computers available and classes on using them including website design and computer graphics, as well as career preparation classes such as cooking, woodworking, horticulture, cosmetology, etc. When they overhauled the cafeteria they improved the menu, including pizza, burgers and fries, and a slurpee machine. So I might’ve gotten lucky.

@@kiddfaith4397 Yeah, really lucky. Common public school cafeteria food is...well...to put it lightly, it makes McDonalds look gourmet in comparison. It's not "bad" persay, but very obviously dirt cheap and oftentimes bland.
