Hi Sorry for the late reply put I havn't checked my RU-vid for a while. I have only used this method for short focal length lenses, as far as I can assertain the longer the lens the less chance of parallax erorr so you souldn't have to much trouble with a 200mm lens, sorry to be a bit vague Cheers Paul
Hi Paul, I have a question if you can help me. I am using Gigapan for my research. When I was taking pictures with 55mm focal length, I could use this method. But now I am using 200mm focal length and it is impossible to see the both of vertical stands. Can you tell me how to find the nodal point for long focal length lenses? Thanks in advance
If you had of finished your first pano at a focal length of 14 mm, but then thought I want to do another but change the lens to say 22mm, would you need to establish a new nodal point, or does it stay the same wherever the zoom is at??
Hi Paul, Thanks for the video tut. Can I ask what equipment you used? The rail and tripod head in particular. I'm wanting to take lots of panos and I want to get a setup of gear.
