I'm taken by this. I had the pleasure of reading something similar, and I was truly taken by it. "Unlocking the Brain's Full Potential" by Alexander Sterling
Thank you for this very informative teaching! I am 72 and trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes it can be so confusing to listen to different doctors with different opinions . This pretty much cuts to the chase. I’m feeling energized after listening to you! I have listened to you on Dr Radio and happy to have found you on RU-vid ❗️
This was soo helpful for me.... I'm beginning my health and fitness journey and this has cleared some doubts and Misconception about certain foods.... Thank you
I am taking whey protein 3X a day in my gastrol peg with the liquid diet that my nutritionist has me pumping into my stomach. I crash less than an hour after eating . They do blood tests and tell me I'm getting a nutritionally balanced diet but I think I'm missing something to be flat tired all the time. I do have anaemia along with muscular dystrophy. Any suggestions?
This video does not differentiate between complete and incomplete proteins. complete protein comes from animal product; it contains all of the essential amino acids. incomplete proteins are vegetables, fruits and carbohydrates. they contain only a small subset of amino acids in a fraction of the amount that you would get from complete proteins. it is important to not substitute incomplete proteins for complete proteins. very suprised they left this out of the video as it is very important to make sure that the general public is encouraged to eat lean meat on a daily basis for your protein intake
Carbohydrates are not essential for the vast majority of people; many of the people she is mentioning when talking about carbs are outliers; gymnast, athletes, physically active people, of which the average person is not in that category. I'm not saying to avoid carbohydrates. Im saying her take on carbohydrates is flawed when it comes to the vast majority of people; don't get me started on her hot take on saturated fats. She is and example as to why most people ignore dietitians and nutritionist in 2022 You do not need to be considered an expert in a field to understand the literature and the data on nutrition. FYI: Your body has other ways of getting glucose when needed; glycerol for one thing. .
Carbs are not essential, essential are things that the body cannot produce on its own. Glucose can and will be produced by your body when needed, it’s called glyconeogenesis
