Finding some big gold with the SDC2300 is fun. I only had a couple hours to hunt, but I got some big gold, so come along with me and experience metal detecting for nuggets.

Hey,B4 you pepper the ground with the gold you got out of one of those paydirt bags, hint,bright gold,Alaska gold,I know,your new to this thing right.and right off of a fire rd.too hey good luck finding more gold,look for red or black sands,and anything that looks like white cedar trees,or and ponddarosa trees,they hide gold in bedrock.god bless

I prefer to dig genuine but dirty gold that no one has ever held before. I know its hard for some folks to believe but if you know what you are doing and are in the right place, there really is gold to be found - and sometimes its right next to an existing road.

I sold a (5 Gram) nugget for $400.00.... 22K Arizona Rio Verde gold ..... It was beautiful .... Thanks for the video .... I use an XP ORX ...

Good video Chris. Looks like your right off the side of a road. Those places are always overlooked because of all the trash that is usually there. Pays to detect them however. I like that pick, is it homemade or did you buy it.

The pick is both. I bought something and modified it. Its a CUSTOM! Well, we didn't get together again this year. We really must do something about that!

The SDC is almost totally automatic. Turn it on, set 3 on the gain, and that is it.

You tell it like it is! Do you like the 6000 any better than the SDC?

Both are good, I have the SDC.

The 6000 is much lighter and the wireless headphones make is so much easier to put the detector down when digging a target. I recently got the 5X10 coil from Coiltek and it works fantastic on the 6000. I just got back from a prospecting trip to a hydraulic pit where I found pieces as small as .027 grams. I can swing the 6000 all day where as my wrists gave out after a couple of hours with the SDC.
