So far in Expeditions, the Co(s)tco (sorry, can't help it) seems to be the bee's knees for me too. I haven't tried the Loadstar yet since I have to buy it (don't get it for free like "some people", sniffle), but that one used to be my absolute "go to" in SR. Used that sucker everywhere, except when I was lazy and just hauled out the old Cheatomatic™ Tatarin.
I call it the "Costco" too! 😂 Yeah, the Loadstar is a beast, just not for weaving around rocky areas...and..psst...I paid full price for my game + Loadstar (don't tell my hubby!). 🤭
@@BuckeyeBunny Glad I'm not the only one😂 So the Loadstar didn't come with your edition of the game, you had to buy it from the in game truck store too? Because I've seen a number of 'Tubers by now who seem to have gotten it from the beginning in the garage, so I thought it was a "premium edition" thing. Yeah, I splurged too, but only on the "medium package". I won't tell on you if you don't tell on me! 😁
@@misha6699 My apologies if I misunderstood earlier. I do believe the Loadstar came with the highest edition that I bought, as it was unlocked. I haven't bought any trucks with in-game money yet, just real. 😂
@BuckeyeBunny Well just like in SR ypu always had to find the best truck or scout for the job ,maybe the Loadstar will be better for another future map. I am planning on getting this game Tuesday. If u would like my input.ill let u know :) keep up.the good work your doing great :)
So far Khan with rock crawler suspension and top engine and roof rack and 44" mud tires (did not find the top ones yet.. still looking for them). This is quite a beast. And i am comparing it o loadstar, cotco, pug, don in their most tricked out form (crawler suspensions on many of them, mudtires, top engine and many addons to keep it well suplied). Did not get the Yar yet. But so far, the Khan is the stable light and grippy and nimble and can climb many vertical walls instead of resting the front bumper (looking at loadstar and pug that does this a lot). Just like i've remebered it from snowrunner before nerf. Now it has lots of repair points, lots of fuel on the roof rack. The main "scout" and workhorse was the actaeon SE with sideboard. It could carry sideboard items for some missions, plenty powerful to drag other vehicles, good range, plenty of fuel and repairs, (enough to build bridges and fill fuel for missions). The khan is the upgrade hunter with metal detector. I do hope to get the radar soon. I'm shy of 50% of the game at this moment (intense week) I did 100% all games before (SR, MR, ST).
The Scout 800 is a BEAST, isn't it?! Don't get me wrong, good old Donald is a fun little "RC car" that'll get small jobs done without tipping or breaking the fuel budget, but he's a bit low to the ground even with the crawler kit. So glad you're enjoying the Scout...go International!! 😂
So i recently got the pioneer pack thinking i can add the big fat mud tires on the loadstar 1700 se but it doesn’t even show as a locked tire like on the pictures on the pioneer pack, am I doing something wrong or is that a mistake?….
How did u unlock the cotco? I got it with the premium edition but it says its locked under dlc. I only did the first starting map tho. Maybe ill get it on release? I dont know.
Hmm, the Expeditions website shows the Cotco coming with both the Year 1 and Supreme game levels (everything but basic game-only). I wonder if it might be a bug?
Well I didn’t have the same experience with the Cotco I got stuck almost immediately and it flips really easily I’ll give it another go but I like the don but your right upgraded suspension makes the big difference with the fine tune upgrade on it also with a snorkel witch is pretty pricey glad I didn’t but the loadstar looks more like an off road vehicle then a scout
OH no, lol. Well, get 'er a set of better tires, and maybe that will help, but it does indeed have a higher center of gravity than the Don 71. Slap a roll cage and lift kit on Donald and he'll get you far. 😉😂
