Finger stalls are a great way to protect your fingers when shooting a recurve bow or longbow. I've been using them for quite a while. Here's a quick video showing how to make them.
Hey mate love the vids! I was wondering if you could do a DIY back quiver or a stalker quiver?? I am terrible with making stuff a tutorial would be awesome
I would like to try making these. (Wish me luck! Nearly flunked the sewing part of home economic when I was in school. Clearly shoot better than I sew, thank God.). Could you tell me the height and width of the little pattern you use. That will give me a place to start. Thanks for this. Can't wait to try these. Love your videos. 🎯
Clay Hayes -Thanks so much. I shoot with an 80-year-old gentleman who has nerve damage in his fingertips, causing difficulty with release. I think these might be perfect!
Jees, I noticed those the other day and going to ask. Guess I don't have to now. Of course I'm a little lazier. Being a falconer who uses welding gloves instead of buying an expensive falconry glove... I have a few right handed gloves I don't use. So I'll e cutting the finger tips off and adding a layer of leather to the inside. Thanks for the tip.
ya I'm noticing that they are a touch loose. I glued a couple layers to the inside of the fingers,, but still working with the concept. Thanks for the head start on the build though.
I have the one that goes on my middle finger padded a little on the inside. The middle finger gets most of the pressure so it needed a little more protection. Give that a try. Just glue another piece of leather on the inside. ch
