Hey my lovelies.
Here is the link to go and get your entries for this year‘s giveaway.

Can’t thank TomTom enough for coming on by. We were going to install the PSC system, but unfortunately realized a couple of hours after messing around with the parts that we had the wrong kit. Good job he was here though, because we managed to get that crossmember in From RPM suspension and now I can work on the car feeling extremely safe knowing that the transmission and engine are in there and solid.
This vehicle is certainly going make a Jurassic transformation in the next up-and-coming week. I’m excited to take you guys along and remember you gotta be in it to win it.
Thanks for watching
Holls

I think you need to buy a couple tools A set of transfer punches (that makes sure your holes are centered) A Drill Doctor (that makes sharpening bits a literal snap) A drill index (that holds your bits so they stay labeled and organized) This stuff is pretty cheap and makes things waaaaaay easier

Holly, surely you have some nail polish, a.k.a., lacquer! Brush some over and into the engraved sizes of the drills, let it dry and then sand the extra off with very fine sandpaper/emery cloth. A simple job to do in the evening while relaxing, no? It's cool to see Tom Tom helping you out. I expect he will be a super help to you just as he always was at Matt's. What Tom Tom calls standard is actually SAE, which is actually the acronym for the Society of Automotive Engineers. Americans often call SAE tools standard. I am with you in that metric should be seen as standard. Most of the world uses metric and not SAE. Here in Canada, we tend to use both depending on the application. The main reason we still use SAE (In England (Lived in Portsmouth for two years), as I recall, this was usually referred to as Imperial; some Canadians still use the term but most of the under-50 generation use either standard and/or SAE) is our proximity and our trade with the U.S. Canada switched to using the metric system for many things in the latter months of 1975 or the early months of 1975, as I recall. For me, it was grade 5. Metric is a simpler system to use. Of course, we'd like to see Tom Tom back. He seems more alive when he's with others, sorry to say. I find him too close to sounding monotone when he's in his own shop. His engineering brain is a very handy thing to have around, no? LOL! Until next time, take good care! Kart #66 from Ottawa, Canada

Marker pen and a baby wipe will give you black numbers on your drill bits. Just colour the area where the sizes are 'engraved'/embossed then gently wipe off with the baby wipe and the numbers will stay black for the lifetime of the bit.

I paid for the heel along with the rest of the loaf of bread so especially since the loaf of bread we use to buy for 25 to 35 cents per loaf when I was a lad now costs $3.50 to $4.50 and more, yes I eat the heels and add the crumbs left in the bag to the bread crumb jar. If the bread dries out then it goes through the food processor and becomes bread crumbs too. Best!

I may have mentioned this in the past however if you want your drill bits to stay sharp longer and be easier to use then get some Tap Magic cutting fluid (not gummy sticky dirty cutting oil like plumbers use for black pipe) and put a drop on the bit before drilling each hole. The drills battery along with your own will also last longer too for a trifecta of wins. Best!

I like the heal of freshly baked bread. I don't eat the heal on store bread. Weird, I know. Holly, looks to me like you are using too high a speed on your drill bits. Get a bunch of 1/8 inch bits to drill your pilot hole and go up incrementally in size to final diameter.

Also when you buy new drill bits look fot a ser with the holes sized to the drill bits in the holder as soon as a drill slips in the chuck you can't read it but can pop it in the holder so you know the size

SAE started out around 1900 as a global society to set standards for the blossoming automobile industry to define standards for various parts and fasteners. It started out as the Society of Automobile Engineers and was mirrored by others setting up similar for other industries until Elmer Sperry coined the term Automotive to include all forms of motion so SAE then became an inclusive group know as the Society of Automotive Engineers so all industries globally followed the same standards for sizing parts and fasteners. Then anything stamped SAE become known as Standard in the mechanical trades since workmen could use the spanners/wrenches in a Standard tool kit to work on any product manufactured to SAE standards. They used inches and feet since this had been the standard going back to the foundation of international trade thousands of years ago and further promoted by British Colonization. At the Royal Observatory in Greenwich you will find the public display of the British Foot and Inch Standards from the 1800's that could be referenced to verify your rulers conformed with that Standard. Best!
