Stopped video as soon as you started talking about your back... Kim, the best thing you can do for your back, when you are working, is to get yourself a good back brace. Just get into the habit of putting it on before you start working. Don't wait for your back to start hurting. I have had back problems for years, and the only reason I'm still able to do projects (like the one I'm doing right now, shoveling gravel out of my front yard to create a small walking path), is because of my back brace. And making sure I'm using my legs, and not my back, when I can. ok, back to the video.... It's turning out really cute. It also must be satisfying to have it done before your trip, so when you come back, all that's left is the plumbing and electrical. Love the way the quilt stand came out! As usual, great job Kim. Watching you do projects keeps me motivated to get my little projects done. In fact, after I finish this comment, I'm going to finish up moving the last of the gravel for my walking path. This last section is probably going to take longer than the majority, because this part is really thick with gravel (just bought this house in AZ. The laundry room is really looking good Kim. I had an idea for outside. You have so many adorable decorations on the front porch. I think it would look even better to run it a little onto the side of the house. It would look so cute to add a larger wreath between the two windows over by where you park to add some balance and make the side of the house look festive too. Just a thought.
Vanilla gets lots of smells out of lots things. We used to use it to get the fish smell out of out coolers. From time to time a cooler would get left in the back of the truck with bait fish in it. Talk about stink!!! Wash it out, let it dry in the sun, wipe it down with vanilla on a paper towel. Good as new!! Your laundry room looks great, it's so cute! You always do an awesome job with whatever you are doing or redoing. You have that special knack!
Love your sunglasses frames. Great colors. I pull clothes out and hang on a pole I put above the washer and dryer. It comes in very. Handy. Everything will look great.❤❤❤❤❤
Great job! Kim you inspire me to get going on my ideas. An idea is to flip the cat box and food storage box around that way the quilts may not absorb the kitty box smell.
I wish I had the energy you have Kim but I'm older and clean houses everyday 5-6 days a week and when I get home my energy is gone and I have so many projects that I want to get done in my house. If I could just get alittle energy to start in one room and do alittle everyday I could get something done! Wish you lived closer cause I sure could use your help!
Looking good there Kim. Maybe you can make some cabinets over the washer and dryer for your laundry detergent and lightbulbs etc then you won’t need that other cabinet in that room. Carpet idk about in a laundry room. If washer ever leaks it a pipe burst easier to just wipe up that soaking carpet.
I would rather have open shelving there so it stays airy and open. It’s a 5x7 rug not carpet, I can pull it out and dry it out or throw it away and get another. Easy Peezy

I have had L5 S1 disk surgery... have carpal tunnel syndrome... Needless to say.. I quit all doctor meds... I use CBD, CBN, AND drops to ease my pain... it helps.. but it will not get better but it wont be as fast to deteriorate.
@@kimberlyrada4748 my L4 and 5 are the disc's that affected. I also have arthritis in my back. About 6 years ago is when I started using CBD. Before cbd I was addicted to oxycodone and using a walker. I still deal with more pain than I like but not enough to want to dance with addiction. I know one day I will most likely need it again but for today, the walker still sits in the corner gathering dust lol.

I love how you can do everything. You are so handy. I have a suggestion. Remove that swinging door and make it a sliding barn door with the hanging hardware on the porch room side. Then you’ll have more access to the space behind the door in your laundry room. Keep up the good work

Hello Ms Kim & Levi - You do such nice work and your laundry room looks great. What if you took that cabinet that’s currently in your laundry room that your not sure what to do with and….. hear me out plzzzzz. Turn it sideways, redo the shelves and doors to go from vertical to horizontal, change from 2 doors on the cabinets to one horizontal, stain it and put it above the washer & drawer as shelving and a cupboard? Just a thought! I know you’ll make it useful and beautiful regardless ♥️
That is a good idea except I would have to really tear it apart to do that. The open shelves at the top have round columns not square so it would be hard to screw on bottoms once it’s sideways. But I have done that before with old kitchen cupboards. Turned them sideways and lifted up the door like RV cupboards
The laundry room is looking great and the table for quilts is wonderful. I have 4 quilts one is the last quilt my great grandma made it is made out of flour sacks so it is nice and soft. Don't fret i don't use it. It is hanging on a rack.
Mom and dad‘s laundry room was outside I think in some of dad‘s videos you’ve probably seen it. It’s right out the back door, we always called it the washroom . It was hot in the summer and cold in the winter and Mom‘s having a traipse in and out. I talked her into finally taking the spare bedroom and turning it into the laundry room/playroom/pantry but least it’s now in the house. Maybe one day someone can help you turn one of your rooms into a laundry room if that’s possible
Kim, I can't handle needles other than a sewing needle, at all. Too needle phobic. I just go to my doctors office every week for my weekly b12 and bi-weekly humira shots. 🤔 The laundry room is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it finished and organized. 💖

Kim check out the omega paw litter box . Litter doesn’t go everywhere, you just roll it over because it’s covered. So you roll it over tap on the bottom it falls into a tray then you just pull the tray out and dump it in a bag It’s so easy, I do put tape across the seam inside as it eventually wears iut after 3 or 4 years, but with duck tape on it it doesn’t 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Oh I love the new washroom it’s cute and just right ,I love to paint my house every year just so that the house feels fresh and smells fresh ,but I do clean every day and I usually rearrange my house my kid’s always tell me I’m glad I’m not blind or we walk ( they) into things … but I’m am now at the age of hurting and not being able to climb up and down the ladder so I’m not getting my painting done as much as I would like .. I’m 65 but due to a back injury it makes it harder for me to do what I use to do … as I always say love your videos keep them coming …Have A beautiful blessed day….♥️♥️♥️

Hi Kim. Could you remove that door in the laundry room and use a shower curtain of regular curtains between the two spaces so you get the heat and ac. You could have tie back on it so when you have company over you could close them up. You could also put some wood shelves about the quilt table or the washer and dryer and then use some cute baskets to keep things like TP, lightbulbs etc if you decide not to use that other cabinet in there. Those big boards you used for bathroom flooring and the quilt table would look fantastic. Everything is looking great!

Maybe you could do a video of how to paint with a sprayer. I've loved painting, for my it was relaxing and healing to see the finished work. I've painted everywhere I lived, until a few years back when my shoulder gave up. I have something similar to what Lester is going through now. I'm your mom's age, so it was a lot of painting. I think I could do it spraying but I have no idea how, I always used a roller. Love and admire you as a strong woman, wonderful mother and grandmother. I'm glad Bri is taking after you. Thank you for sharing your life with us, it must not be easy specially when there are people that don't appreciated it and are so negative and rude.
