Hi Craig, Have you considered using brass olives from Enots? It would be easier than flaring. Modifying their standard parts is much easier, especially if you need the tapered threads to make the joints oil tight. However, the bespoke parts look great. Getting the spanner flats in line is not easy, it's either spacers, or milling them together, but that requires a milling machine and hexagon collet block. Great job though !!! I'm not trying to tell you how to do it, I'm just suggesting a possible easier ways to save you time. At the end of the day: This project is without doubt " A labour of love" , I just hope whoever gets it will appreciate all your time and tireless efforts Rgds Mike N

I think you should coil the tubing around the cylinder base once or twice to cool the oil before cycling through engine, coil to look like extension of air cooling fins. the extra surface area will help a lot with cooling the oil and I think a cool pattern or symmetrical path would be awesome. The logo R or the Cannon, or the manufacture date on each side of the motor drawn with a single line. Maybe a star.. just spitballing, looks awesome as is too.. --> Brass Hydraulic Brake Lines & clutch cable, fuel lines, even sparkplug wires if u want

The Royal Enfield,s had the y piece rocker oil feed for a reason. They originally had the T piece but found the exhaust rocker was starved of oil due to the forward motion of the bike as the pressure when hot is very low.

Might be worth investing in a die holder for the tailstock if you're going to be making lots of them oil line adapters. Finished job looks beautiful, so much nicer than shop bought adapters :)

Hi, Have you ever made the oil pipe to go straight up from the engine to the head gasket height then turn across and up into the T piece? I thought it would be something new and save the two tight bends together at the bottom? Love Big Boy Blue he is such a lovely boy, Keep up the great work Craig!!!
