I've added the final touches to Grandma's bedroom. I can't believe it's finally done! The little Pitcher and bowl set was purchased from AliExpress for $4.00 CND. The silicone mold was also from AliExpress and was $2.50 CND.
The room looks so authentically simple that it’s absolutely fantastic but oh that scrapbook! What a charming and such personal addition. LOVE it and the story.

I know what you mean! I have done a fair bit of scrapbooking in past and while I have downsized that hobby, half my craft room is still filled with supples!

I love the story about the newspaper articles in the catalog pages. My grandmother kept newspaper articles in used envelopes...no dates on them either. I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I replicated my grandparents house also. What a great way to save those memories.

I live in a very warm climate, south Alabama, and you should know that the museum wax also leaves a slimy oily spot and you pictures fall off the wall in the summer heat.
I appreciate the comment and I’m sure the wax is an issue in warmer climates. Here in Canada the average summer temperature is around 80 to 85F. I have not had any issues. 😁💚
Hi Lori, I have an Instagram account which has most of the pieces from this build, as well as some pictures of 2 other dollhouses I have made. You can reach that by searching ‘ little_by_little_minis ‘. Once this Homestead house is completed, I am going to build my dream house! This one will be more modern (current dated) and will have 3 levels. While I am loving this replica I am doing, it is limiting. I get all these cool ideas in my head but have no place to put them because they don’t fit with the house. I’m looking forward to doing a build where I can do ‘Whatever I want’ 😂
