If every American had $1m in retirement then inflation would be so high they’d still be poor. You can’t escape the value differences. There will always be people below the line where it’s tough to make ends meet because when everyone gets money the price of everything goes up to equalise it all back to what it was. Inequality is your issue.
Diverting spending from infrastructure to elderly care is the worst possible decision ever. If times get difficult, elderly people unfortunately are the last that need to be cared for. There is a reason the Inuit, who lived in a brutal poor desolate climate, practiced senicide, which is the killing of elderly, to alleviate their burden so their society can continue to function. Larry Fink is a selfish short sighted fool. Of all the issues in the world, elderly care will always be dead last. Elderly care is a luxury for a thriving society. A blessing when times are good. Infrastructure is the tree planted for the future generations.
When he says “people don’t have enough saved up for retirement.” And “we need to rethink retirement.” He’s saying in a very roundabout way that we should push back the age of retirement. Yeah, don’t fix the economy, just make people work until they are six feet underground. This man is evil.
People have been educated and are now buying physical gold and not investing in pension funds, which are backed by fiat currencies that are going to zero value 🤔.

I agree as the brand of his Capitalism wouldn't go hand in hand with Equality in Outcomes. Equal Opportunity is like a trickster of marketer's lingo that doesn't require a performance. Why is that?
