Same, I'd heard it hundreds of times at parties in the 90s but it's always been an elusive gem, I only googled it after hearing a sampling in that same documentary.
I was looking for the name of the song and singer for years, but I found it now in this Netflix documentary! This song is on my Playlist: Best of 1995 to 1999. More than 200 videos!!! ru-vid.com/group/PLDJwQFktIEIA-X8g-WJI5jE3Y39TbCd2G
Agreed. This entire album is great! But this song is amazing. I’ve been listening to this song on a regular basis for nearly 20 years. It’s Still great, and it now it just makes me feel young. I hate that he hasn’t made more music.
Man I loved this dude. Just read up on where he at now. Much respect to you Finlay. I worked in Hollywood for years. I’ve seen it with many people who get spit out and robbed by labels. Respect bruv. Love to hear you in Ireland.
One of the greatest 1990’s gems ever, what a masterpiece of a song. Adore the look and desert scenery. Great poetic lyrics and voice that tells a story with every phrase. 😍😘🥰🤩🌟👑💎⚜️♥️❤🌈🎵🎶📺🎤🎙️ ☀️
This song drifts me off into a time of bliss and nothing to worry about being a child hearing the tunes of this song bloom from the lounge out into the street we lived, wish times never changed but time will always pass if we want or not, yet we can't forget vibration/music is timeless like memories. My peace.
I don't think you know what underrated actually means. The year this came out it hit number 3 best selling album of the year, he went 2x platinum, was nominated and won a MOBO award and then won a BRIT award for best solo male act. If it was underrated then this wouldn't be a lead single it would be some EP or demo B-side.
In my hotel room of Menton (French côte d'azur) a saturday night in march hearing the music of "meurtre au Paradis " remembering all of suden that song from the 90 s
I heard this song only once in my life before/ I didnt remember the name of the artist or the song.....I heard this weekend at my usual barber shop. after 16 years.fucking awesome.
One of the coolest and underated and talented muth fuckers i have ever met. Met him in manchester in 97 so humble didnt give a fuck about the fame just a smooth legend. This reality bullshit that comes out now is ruining music. Make a come back Fin you changed music form me and a lot of people
Great cover of the Bob Marley song. So many amazing songs of that era, brit pop, radiohead etc, made you s o happy to be alive. I'd love a slice of that pie right now, life is such a head fuck these days,it would taste so sweet. I'm hungry 😆😆
I regret that I dont remember who presented this to me, but I know I loved her dearly. It’s been nearly 8 years, but the faint memory still invokes the feeling. Hope I’ll remember better one day, want to give her my thanks for still imposing a little light into my life even though we’ve gone our separate ways.
Blessing to you my friend. To introduce someone or be introduced to a new song or artist is absolutely priceless. It's a gift that money can't buy but costs nothing and is worth a fortune. The very fact that its stuck with you and still invokes emotion is a true testament to that theory.

What great fucking tune, timeless, the whole CD is awesome. I remember buying it when it came out and listening to it nonstop! I love this song! The best is watching this video for the first time, 27 years later....
