The first fighter I've ever coached was a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black he love the way I fed them it's and then I was on the road to Atlantic he was the co-main event at 3 mixed martial arts fights that me and click good he's probably the reason I'm still coaching to this day he gave me a blue belt and then I started coaching almost all the fightersbut because of politics a lot of us left the team broke up and we all went our separate ways we still talk on social if it wasn't for my sensei I would have never been a mixed martial we all talk from time to time I had Jorge masvidal Charles McCarthy Cole Miller we had an incredible team people move on this is a great show keep up the great work and God bless you 🙏

I honestly dont know why people care about belts unless you plan on teaching then I understand. Even though you can complete med school faster then achieving blackbelt in BJJ. All that being said I guess I never cared about belts from boxing. We improve our striking and not rewarded on it and dont care about being rewarded on it. Only care about getting better offensively and defensively.

How can you calibrate or if you know how others calibrate their jiu jitsu learning when you have a full time job and kids?

Joy Mulumba it’s close to impossible...but you really have to get used to going when you don’t feel like it and find a gym with a Sunday class ( good luck) and later classes on the week days

Depends on your goals. If you want to reach the highest levels bjj / martial arts must be your life. I'm graduating college next semester and while many of my classmates are going of to normal good paying jobs I'm sticking with a job that will allow me to continue train. Whether that means I have to get up early af to train and train later at night + be poor for a while, thats what I'm going to do. If your goal is to just learn, then theres no real limit. Just learn when you can
