Hey guys sorry for the crazy upload schedule today I spent all day trying to work on getting a video to upload and not be choppy after trying close to 20 times of uploading and re-editing uploading some different devices I can’t figure out the issue so I had to post this video instead it was not the one I wanted but hopefully it’s better than nothing.
@joeycaridi3030

Here are a list of ways on what causes choppy video playback, how to fix it, and how to avoid it The main causes of choppy video playback are: 1. The files were downloaded or imported incorrectly 2. Your system doesn’t support the format of the video 3. Your software needs updating 4. You need a different video player 5. Your video is in a nonstandard format 6. Your files are corrupted 7. You haven’t cleaned out your browser cache in a while 8. The files are too large How to fix choppy video playback 1. Re-import Your Videos 2. Check Your System Specifications 3. Update Your Software 4. Opt for Another Video Player 5. Convert the Videos 6. Repair the Files 7. Clear Your Cache 8. Reduce Video Size and Resolution How to avoid choppy video playback 1. Keep your devices up to date 2. Use common file formats or import them via a converter 3. Always make a backup copy of your video files. 4. Clean out your browser cache regularly. 5. Opt for more common video files 6. Keep a converter on hand

I wish we had bells for fire alarms at my elementary school. They had Gentex Commander 3s that were very loud and they scared the shit out of me. The first fire drill I was in I was unaware that it was gonna happen and it traumatized me. I was scared of fire alarms until I was 15.

In the United States of America The majority of schools use horn strobes for the fire alarm and EST Edwards singling technology integrity horn strobes are installed inside a lot of the schools in the United States including mine. But up in Canada you guys use bells for fire alarms here in the United States of America we use horn strobes for our fire alarms in the majority of schools.

Not a big fan of edwards appliances except for the a/v stuff. Est just isn’t very well made or thought out, like the 270spo. The tamper proof screw on some models combined with a protection/deterrent cover can be a pain in the rear to reset or test. I know that from experience.

I'll tell you what kind of smoke detectors those are - they're the kind you better make sure you vent all of your test smoke out of so they don't trip again three hours later LOL...happened to me too many times. Those things are brutal - very smart to use the magnet to test. Great video!

Exactly! Est has a reputation for false alarms and over sensitive/faulty appliances. My middle school i used to go to has a newer est 3 system that just loves to trip on a monthly bases when the janitors clean their equipment. The genesis is prob the only thing they actually got right. Oh and another tip: NEVER EVER combine a 270spo with a sti stopper cover, it will be a pain in ur ass to test and reset.

@craigjensen6853
@craigjensen6853 Год назад
@@nics-systems-electric Yeah, they saved my high school in 2002 (built in 1981). I agree that this elementary school is in great shape for its age, I think I saw either 1993 or 1995 as the drawing date on an evacuation diagram near a pull station. It seems to be remarkably original too, all of the colors even look original. There were so many '90s schools built in Michigan and they all smell the same. I spent a couple of summers inspecting, 2001-2002, it was fun. Came very close to setting off a pre-action deluge system in a gym in a 1-year-old middle school that had "A" and "B" smokes right next to each other you had to do all of the As and then Bs, if an A and B were both set off within X minutes it would go right into deluge with open heads. The installers didn't mark them A or B and we hadn't come across that before. It triggered but fortunately our panel jockey was attentive and quick with the abort. We were required to test with canned smoke so we had to get creative with the high ones sometimes if we didn't have a lift (and those were ALWAYS the ones that went bad). One old timer used to light a cigarette and blow into a long pipe.
