Fire Drill №10 ~ Why Drills Still Matter

It might seem obvious, but keeping other emergencies in mind - while we're in a big pandemic - is something we still need to do.
The world's show still must go on. That includes school - that's why I disappeared off the face of the earth for several months between the posting of this and the previous video. It's also the reason why this idea was supposed to come to fruition about 10 months ago, but instead it's here now.
This drill was conducted in April.

great video why do they have Wheelock E50 Speaker Strobes and Wheelock Exceeder Horn Strobes and what is that beep beep beep beep sound in every video

If you’re talking about the alarms in his school, the gym has the voice evacuation system because areas considered assembly require them. All other areas of the building can use the regular tone.

The beeping sound is an alarm sound from the Intercom used to evacuate the trailers. It's manually activated by the school and not by the fire alarm system like using a relay or control module

It is really great coming to a good, well explained, and well edited video. But weird combo of panels that they have. Altronix is usually used with commercial VISTA's and other combo panels. I assume that the 2 EVAX panels are different, one is a AMP and the other is the actual control panel.

So glad you enjoyed - I'm considering doing more videos in the style of the first half of the video! Yeah, the system is kinda funkyish? All of the NAC power supplies are scattered throughout the building too. The only difference with the two EVAX panels is the watt output as far as I know.

@@BousaiGuy Wait, so they have two voice panels? If they do, then I wonder how they sync.

@@ryanwoods4691 They likely aren't synced, they just activate whenever the relay activates for the panel. I will say that it probably won't matter, though. Any set of the speakers in the _place of assembly_ areas could connect to any of the two panels. However, I would not consider each set of speakers to be a single "notification zone". In other words, because each distinguished area where the speakers are to alert occupants are separated far enough to not be heard anywhere else in the building.
