@@mikeval1525 you forgot to mention that it’s only female exclusive. Male units can’t get gale force. Edit: Turns out Mothers with gale force already equipped can pass it off to their male child unit when recruiting. The more you know.
If it did, it'd probably only be an ova, and for this game people would get pissed about what pairing they'll decide to use and it'll end up getting trashed by a majority of the fandom.
xXPurpleFlareXx you know there are certain animes with multiple love endings right? based off of Visual Novels and lets face it FE:A is like one big VN
RikouHogashi Yeah, I mean look at the various routes in Fate Stay/Night, Heaven's Feel, Unlimited Blade Works, etc. In one route Shirou winds up waiting for Saber, in another he winds up with Rin, in yet another he ends up with a 'harem' of sorts with Sakura & Rider, etc.
So wait, in order to make awakening be canon after fates, tharja would have to have black hair and gaius would have to have orange hair, which women have the appropriate hair colors for tharja and gaius since they both are the kids of male characters?
Soliel is the total opposite from her grandmother Olivia here. Olivia gets embarrassed easily Soliel doesn't one bit. Olivia can dance and doesn't get embarrassed by it. Soleil does. That's the only thing she gets embarressed by.
Too bad they'd never possibly meet, unless they somehow travel back to the timeline of Awakening. We know from Inigo that Olivia had died before the events of Fates... :(
he was talking about his mother from his timeline, not this one. Plus Soliel's ending says she went back to her father's homeland, so they probably did :)
One of the most under appreciated ships in the game. Every time I try to find some sort of Robin x Olivia artwork, all I get is Henry/Lon Qu/Gaius x Olivia DX
1 year later and my fellow brother, sad news... its still the most underappreciated ship, some day...by some miracle of literally anything that can grant miracles, someday it will get appreciation
Juan Duran Costa eh, I don’t like that one as much because of how it’s force fed in the cutscenes and such. Also Olivia is the only choice where Chrom has a son and Inigo actually looks like his son to boot.
Olivia was first my weakest character, then I reclassed her once she reached level fourteen to Myrmidon then Swordsmaster......she became OP! By then more stronger than Donnel! I reclassed her back to Dancer, she's still a monster! Olivia is OP with time and effort put into it!
Tbh ANY character can become OP if you grind them for a bit. My Donnel is an absolute BEAST in battle, and when my Female Unit married him, Morgan became absolutely devastating due to inheriting Aptitude. Literally just gotta farm Exp.
@@t-greenrock404 for me my powerhouse is Virion, I upgraded him to Sniper and gave him the powerful bows and he just slaughtered. It's just the time and effort put in the character, cos a lot of people hate Virion
Got to admit though besides Lon qu Olivia in this support seems really comfortable around Robin compare to most supports with her this is the least blushiest of Olivia.
I played a demo of it once, and i gotta say, IT was complicated at first, then i got a hang of it and borrowed it from my friend and it was GREAT!! Didn't finish it though because i was only visiting him for 2 or 3 days!
Well we only get shown four conversations. At the very least they built a miniature theatre together from scratch, which already is more than enough for days of conversation (speaking very conservatively)
I mean, there was a timeskip of a year or 2 after the chapter you recruit Olivia, maybe she fell for Robin somewhere in that time span? Hell, during the battle if the whole, chrome marries olivia with enough rigging of supports thing makes story sense.
Olivia: And lets get those bears that balance on wheels! Robin: Right, then we’ll have them for dinner! Olivia: You...want to have dinner with bears? Robin: Something like that...
LostisthePast Kid, you need a better sense of what "hero" means, unless you actually understand the bitterness behind me saying "Fire Emblem is dead" over and over again.
***** Well then, it seems I have a perfectly good sense of what hero means. I'm assuming my profile picture mislead you in making you think that I'm naive or something of that sense. Trust me, on this subject, I'm not ignorant. I can see what you mean when you say "Fire Emblem is dead." I can agree with that on the level that it's definitely going in a very different direction in comparison to past Fire Emblem games. However, it isn't dying as a franchise for sure. I feel your bitterness too. Personally, I like that they're making the series more open to casuals, but god help me it hurts me just how open they're making it. Phoenix Mode? Shoot me now. No weapon durability? Sure, why not throw out a series staple or two while we're at it. Regardless of how I feel about these things, I tend not to focus on them because I like to focus on one thing when I'm playing a game; the entertainment value. I'm sure you're going to say I'm like shadowofchaos in this way, but I honestly couldn't care less. After that tl;dr post I hope you realize that you should never call me "kid" again.
LostisthePast I didn't assume anything because of your avvy; I assumed so because the majority of people in the fandom I've met are along the mindset that "FE13 saved the series" is an end-all, be-all for discussion. I called you "kid" because I wanted to sound cool, not to degrade you. And while you and everyone else would rather focus on the "game", I would much rather focus on the writing, the characterisation, the overall intent...the "soul" of the game, as one might put it. what I'm finding from 13 and 14 is a desperate sellout to an audience of perpetually horny teenagers in its characters, an attempt to appeal to the dumbest child ever in its gameplay, and a disinterested splattering of recycled archetypes and clichés in its story. It's similar to the kinds of things people bash Dragon Age 2 and other post-Mass Effect 2/Final Fantasy 13 video games for being, I suppose. I came into this series out of a genuine curiosity to play a game that my best friend showed me a long time ago, in FE8. It wasn't the most visually astounding thing I had ever seen, or the easiest thing to get a firm grasp on. But it didn't matter. It was the characters-their relationships, their dialogue, and the ability to keep learning more and more about them in support conversations-that kept me playing these games, and still do today. with what FE13 turned out to be, it felt like a betrayal, a deliberate act of harm, towards my childhood and my mind-and I just can't let that go no matter what. So you can enjoy FE14 and its shallow assortment of non-gameplay and may-as-well-be-stripteases "characters". As for me, I'll just keep on preaching against settling for less.
***** Ah okay then, sorry for that misunderstanding. And honestly, I feel like I might have made it seem much more like I don't care at all about character or story. Maybe I wasn't sure what I should say because I didn't know the kind of person I was dealing with? Who knows. I have no clue. And with your response, I can see that we're similar. To be specific, we both played Sacred Stones. I was also introduced into the series by a friend, and they were telling me how amazing it was. Luckily for me, they were right. I got hooked. The characters were interesting, the gameplay was strategic and clever, and the story kept me going. Not to mention the fascinating and no doubt frustrating mechanic of permadeath. It really set the stakes so much higher. Overall, very nice. Despite the primitive graphics and the (apparently, I didn't know it at the time) difficulty for new players it was a great game. I honestly feel like I also made it seem like I was okay with the pandering that Intelligent Systems did with Awakening, and is still doing with IF. It severely disappoints me, like I very mildly expressed in my original comment. I was let down when I found out about all the fanservice that they dangled in front of the consumer with Awakening, and it frightens me with the new edition(s) as well. Again, Phoenix Mode, weapon durability, both things that bring the series down. As for story and characters, I really don't think it's right to assume the quality of these things before the game(s) are even out. Knock yourself out with disliking the designs. I certainly don't at all like the obvious fanservice going on with some of the characters. For a series that really shows women usually as individuals with actual protective armor, and able to protect themselves some of these new women wouldn't survive a single battle with the skimpiness they're donning. Unlike what I (mistakenly) portrayed, I really don't want to put up with these massive errors. Sadly, all that can be done is speak out about it. Keep doing that, people need to know that Awakening isn't the only Fire Emblem game that exists. I'm so sorry that your childhood was ruined like that. For someone who heavily relies on nostalgia, I completely understand what it feels like to have something you loved turn into something you no longer recognize. Thanks for having the patience to listen. So far, this has been an interesting conversation.
I like how the only way olivia can have her theatre is not to have the exalt marry her and build one but to marry the plegian tactician of arcane origins and build one herself.
It goes like this in Fire Emblem Support C: Person1:Sup... Person 2:I has huge problem... Person 1:Me could help... Person 2: Thank Support B: Person 1: Sup... Person 2: Thank for problem solving... Person 1: You welcome... Person 2: Have cookie Person 1: Thank 4 cookie Support A: Person 1: Thank for cookie... Person 2: You many welcome... Person 1: You very good... Person 2: Thank. Have more cookie... Person 1: Thank 4 more cookie... *think they cute* Support S: Person 1: Thank for many cookie... Person 2: You welcome... Person 2: I loves you... Person 1: You give cookie. I love cookie... I love you too... Get married? Person 2: Too soon... but who cares? Marriage start now! Person 1: Yeah!
I'm imagining Robin and Olivia meeting Peri for the first time and goes weird very fast. Oh come on, you know someone's already made of fanfiction of it by now.
I don't care what anyone says, this is OTP, this and Chrom x Sumia are OTP. Lucina just feels wrong since MU and Chrom have such a strong bond. Not to mention Inigo is an awesome older brother for Morgan. I don't even need Rightful King, Astra kicks ass on its own.
That's dating your best friends daughter and honestly it just sounds weird, not to mention she is still a baby in that timeline. I can't imagine that being anything but awkward when she gets older.
Not exactly, Future Lucina and baby Lucina are now two completely different people, now that her dark future was prevented, the baby will grow up and probably have a very different personality, and act differently as well. Besides, it's not like Lucina can go back to her own future, she'll die if she does that, so she'd be living there the rest of her life. And I doubt Chrom would have any complaints. I mean he trusts Robin with his life right? I'm sure he'd be glad to find his daughter will be happy with someone like him. Besides, I'm sure he'd rather entrust her to him, rather than her other options, Inigo the womanizer, Owain the cousin, or Gerome the batman of Fire Emblem, among others. But that's just my perspective on things.
Also, MUxOlivia feels like the only pairing for MU that doesn't feel complete without the S-support. MU promised to help Olivia achieve her dream of building that theater in the previous support, which just feels... weird if Olivia wouldn't end up as MU's spouse.
Unfortunately not :< She's one of the exceptions for passing down classes to Morgan, along with characters like Chrom. This is probably just because they didn't want more than 2 Lords or more than one dancer.
God dammit I just restarted my game for the 5th time so I could pair robin and chrom then I see this. IT'S TOO CUTE! MUST RESTART GAME AGAIN! MUST GIVE ROBIN PINK HAIR TOO!
not really. She probably just at ease around the tactician. I mean Lon Qu has gynophobia (fear of girls) but isn't scared by Nowi. And whats wrong with wanting something? Just cause she is depicted as shy doesn't mean she can't be different to some people and have natural wants.
TheHappy_P0tat0 you've got it wrong, Donnie isn't a tank, he's a walking nuclear warhead that eats tanks for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a midnight snack. By the end of the game for me, Donnel couldn't even take damage from Grima, and he still one-shotted everything, and don't even get me started on Yarne (I married off Panne and Donnel).
I'll be honest. When I first saw Olivia in the game and how she could actually fight, I wished really hard that there would be a "Sword Dancer" class. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I learned the sad truth...
Robin, The Tactical Genius Nigga its Thursday morning and you're looking at Fire Emblem social links with MC. Plus you have a anime picture and you know who Luka is. You're a weeab too lol
