Pray for your spouse more than complain, don’t gossip your spouse

Definitely a godsend!! We are newlyweds since November 5,2021. Our marital counseling from our pastor was on point when he mentioned that it didn't matter that we were best friends for 10 years before. Lol! Boy is that such a hard truth right now! I'm sure he prayed on this phase but I know I did just yesterday morning; we have been struggling with meeting eachothers needs in the love language department. He is definitely the physical touch/needing reaffirming type and I'm so independent and do it all myself person. It's annoying on both ends. However, that part about filling ourselves up IN THE LORD first is definitely a big deal, though I try to mention it to him constantly so he doesn't put all that weight on Me to "make" him feel loved, I do have to remind myself that I am sharing space now and to humble myself enough to let him in. I sure do appreciate your hard work in sharing your time with us to learn from and to build that foundation! I pray that you and your husband have a thriving relationship and he continues to appreciate your work as you honor his part on this journey for you. May God continue to bless your endeavors!

The plan making was a hard one for me as well. I had to learn to include them in my plan making especially even during my daily tasks. It is a learning curve but once you get over it , it becomes very easy.

I been feeling this way. Me and my husband have trouble coming together . But we was getting a divorce we trying g work on it. I've had alot bad relationships. And felt lonely in them. And my my husband started in the beginning making me feel this way. And it continued throughout our 5 years. And it caused me to be frustrated about being married. And he does over talk me. U r a blessing I found u. We both need relationships help.

Unfortunately, I was married six times and also lived with a guy that I had a child with. I discovered how totally selfish I was and how demanding and possessive they were. I really don't see how marriages can survive apart from Christ. His Spirit enable the spouse to see things thru their mate's eyes. Now I have a great marriage because I place my husband's needs above my own. And Christ is the center of our relationship.
