Nope, I didn't use any headset. I just had a general understanding of the layout of Rome from various maps and things I had studied before hand, including the first-person views in Google Earth. As for the subtitle commentary, I added all that later on as I was editing the videos.

We drove by on the way to the city center from the airport. :-)

Nice commentary too, may I ask: did you have a headset? I heard there is a virtual Rome soundtrack that tracks you via GPS and gives commentary, did you use that?
