Shortly after midnight on Sunday May 26th, Station 50 along with mutual aid from Lampeter, Lancaster Township, Blue Rock, West Willow, and New Danville were dispatched to a mobile home fire in the 1000 block of Willow Street Pike. Initial reports were of two people unaccounted for. Engine 502 arrived and laid a supply line back the driveway and Engine 66-1 picked it up for a water supply. The Engine crew stretched a line to extinguish the fire while the crews from Rescue 905 and Truck 50 made their was inside to search. Several quick searches were made throughout the trailer, and all were negative. Crews were in service for several hours waiting for the PSP fire marshal, doing overhaul, and then cleaning up and getting the apparatus back in service. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 5/26/24

A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
