Enjoyed watching Lee great to see your Lad so keen on it all 👍😊 the tent looks cool it’s pretty big and uses a trek pole your already carrying (I do anyway) enjoyed 👍 might have a look into one of these 👍 ATB simon 👍😊🏔
Cheers Simon, yeah Levi loves it all and pretty nifty at the editing stuff. I’m super impressed with the Lanshan 1 for the price it’s put together amazingly well. Looking forward to using it in anger soon. I think it’s going to be a perfect shelter for multi day hikes 👏👏👏 cheers for watching buddy 🙏
cracking video! wish i had a camera man!!! from previous experience only the guy out points require seam sealing as the other seams are taped. Cheers ATB TGW
Haha Levi is getting good at this stuff! He will want paying next mind 🤣 I only went with what others have said and to be honest it was a really easy job and I enjoyed doing it. Really looking forward to getting it out, hopefully this Saturday 👏 cheers for watching buddy 🙏
Try bumping your walking pole up to take the slack out the inner. Also I’ve found taking a few extra pegs to guy it out independently of the fly sheet also helps. Just take small lightweight pegs as they don’t need to be weight bearing. Another top tip for getting a great pitch on the lanshan, is to have the pulls only half pulled on the initial pitch. This tent will sag when wet, even just evening/morning dew. Leaving some slack allows you to go around and quickly eliminate any sag.
Your lads a natural in front of the camera, he could have his own channel... might out do his dad's channel though! Where can we support your charity hike Lee?
Haha nice one Adam, check out ‘Wild Camping Kid’ on RU-vid. That’s my son Levi. He hasn’t got quite as many subs but his videos get 1000’s of views! I’ve not set up the charity page yet, I’m thinking Mens mental health. Cheers for watching dude 👍
I do like these tents lee the only thing that puts me off is seem sealing them could u do a how too video on doing please ,cracking looking tent so simple for multi day hike it looks quite big considering it's lightweight
Hi Paul, cheers for watching buddy. Honestly I’m super impressed! What a tent for the price, the quality is outstanding. I’m thinking there is a few modifications that will make it much better. Yeah I will film the seam sealing it’s not that hard, I think getting the right consistency with Cilnet and white spirit and taking your time is key, I’ve had enough practice in the past sealing up Hillebergs!!!!!! 🤣😜👍
Yes let's not get into the discussion that they leak, lots of people get upset when the word hillberg and leak ae combined 🤣🤦♂️looking forward to seeing the how to video....
It's a good tent I find you can lower the pole if its cold to bring it right down to the floor. I also don't like using the guy line to connect to the bottom of the fly and add a second peg to bring it down lower
I’m really impressed with it to be honest, the building quality is just as good if not better than the scarp 1. The separate guy out point on the bottom makes total sense will do that mod today. The only thing that puts me off a little is it’s not very taught inside? I think this might come good when pitched properly outside. 👍
@@blackmountainadventures It can be a little tricky to get it looking right at first. The inner might be a little baggy but the outside is easy enough to get tight
