I just started my Chanel journey last year. I know, way to late! I’m so fascinated with Chanel design recently when mini bags were all the rage. I tried different metals for my hardware and since I’m not a girl, ruthenium hardware seems to be my choice metal material. The so black hardware is so hard to get by specially we don’t have a Chanel boutique in my country. That card holder is so masculine it would be a nice addition to my small collection, plus fit in the micro bags I bought. My recent is the 24C mini 22 in the turquoise and thats my biggest Chanel bag. 🖤🤍🖤

Thanks! The mini 22 in turquoise comes with age gold hardware but there are slgs and wocs with the CC logo in black enamel which I find too strong a contrast. I almost got the rainbow woc with the turn lock but it’s too girly even for an Interior Designer like me. Plus the charms are a pet peeve of mine it may be too much! My favorite is yellow GHW. Since the recent era of quiet luxury I’ve known to purchase black hardware for less subdue look. I recently purchased the reversible Hermes belt kit black and black sides Togo and calfskin with the matte black hardware.ITS A BEAUTY! Not in your face. Would love to acquire this card holder❤

I love the original 24k gold plating on Chanel’s bags but I’m warming up to their champagne gold since it can look both gold and silver depending on the lighting and the color of the bag so ultimately more versatile

Yeah I wish more was made with rose gold hardware too. On the bright side I feel like I've been seeing it slightly more recently so hopefully it'll be more common eventually 😊
Love the Kelly belt! Rose gold is gorgeous but I also like yellow gold. When I was in my 20s and 30s, I only liked silver hardware and jewelry, though. Interesting how tastes change over time.
