Hey Dan ! my niece got me a true color welding helmet for my B day . I aint used it yet but if it can help with my color blindness to red it will be a ++++ . Because of that I can't ark weld worth a shister.
I'm not sure but it sure looks like you are using flux core wire and not the solid type with gas. That is how my millar works with flux core. Another thing to look at is the polarity setup on your machine. Mine has a polarity set one way for gas welding and another way for flux. I'm enjoying this rebuild as much as your blue one .Thanks for allowing us along on this rebuild.
Well, the welder for what it’s worth works. It joins metal together. My problem is the feed. It’s highly possible that I ran over the tube and crushed it. I will look at it tomorrow and get an assessment. Sometimes it feeds good, and other times it’s “chunky”. I’ve checked the wire, tension, and tip….changed all of that different times, to no avail.
